Reviews on Italian food in Taichung, Taiwan. Among its many tourist attractions, Taichung offers a downtown shopping experience similar to that of Tokyo or Manhattan, a bustling nightlife, and a cuisine to please even the pickiest palate. Travelers come to this city to feast their eyes on the temples, markets, parks, and museums. Touring families often visit the Taichung National Museum of Natural Science to marvel over the exhibits or the Feng Chia night market to purchase local goods. But perhaps what Taichung is known for the most is Bubble tea, the most famous beverage in the region.

I've had many of their delicious and innovative dishes over several years - Bistro 88 is one of my favorite Western-style breakfast/brunch restaurants in Taichung - but the Eggs Benedict truly always hit the spot. The eggs are perfectly cooked and of high-quality, the muffin toasted, the bacon crispy, the Hollandaise sauce velvety and tasty, and the side salad lightly dressed and refreshing. Also the beef burger is totally amazing with excellent meat and a fabulous homemade bun!

The first restaurant in Taichung with a real Italian chef. Our dishes are cooked with fresh ingredients, no freeze, no microwave. Come and try the original Italian cuisine!
A friend and I were staying at the Evergreen and walked to Alfredoâs early on a Sunday evening. As there was no customer we thought there must be something wrong with the place and hesitated to get in. And we were glad we did not shy away. Simona and the staff are extremely friendly and you feel very welcome and almost at home. The wine and food was very good. The white wine bottle was kept in the fridge and the glasses filled up frequently We enjoyed a fresh mixed salad, bread basket and penne al arrabiata. Simona had asked how spice we would like the penne and we settled for medium. For me this was good but my friend found it a little spicy. So I recommend you to error on ordering not too spice and add spice later if you feel you have to.

Casual rock'n roll themed pizzeria where we serve thin-crust, stone-baked Italian style pizza, panini, baked pasta, salads, nachos, imported beers and wine.
Really good and consistent. Amazingly better than the vast vast majority of pizza in Europe, and better than any I've had in the UK. No broccoli, pea and mayonnaise toppings which seem popular in Taiwan! The Caesar salad is possibly the best I've ever tasted!

I went to FORE restaurant with my family. The restaurant is what I think is a more typical modern/clean looking restaurant that you might find in USA. The food was good although portions are a bit small. We had the duck, pork and beef. I liked the duck the most. We had salads that were very good too.I don't know what the cost was since someone else paid...Definitely get the desserts though...the tapioca dessert was really good. One thing to note...when they say last call (to order food), they mean last call to order dessert too ! We didn't know this but they were nice enough to order the dessert given that we had a very large party.

By far the rudest and screwed up restaurant in this price range we have dined in Taiwan. A great location with a great name only to fail and fall completely flat. The location was opened in 2016 which is a shock considering how run down it is. The restrooms are NASTY and the built in Chef table area is used as a break room for employees to goof off in. Heck the view to the water feature was blocked by curtains! This restaurant is confusing in decor and menu selection. Do they specialize in fish (aquatic) or steak because the selection is confused. We ordered a Cesar salad and a mixed seafood appetizer with a bottle of wine to start. Surprise it all came out at the same time! Our waitress was off in the corner playing with co workers while we waited for our wine. Only after I voiced my displeasure did it arrive. Surprise again our check came before we ordered dinner! I guess they didnât need anymore sales. This place isnât worthy of your hard earned money. SAD...I hope the owners read this and take corrective action before you find your business closed because your employees are lazy and donât care about the customers.

Authentic Italian cuisine prepared by Italian chef. Special dish Panuozzo: baked panini made with pizza dough filled with cheese, sausage and vegetables The menu is very rich and includes rich enter, pizza, pasta, salads, Napoli style calzone (baked), but
On way to Changhua, we decided stop at Taichung for a lunch , based on TripAdvisor we choose Bella Roma, we didnât had to wait for table even on Sunday. Location: not easy to find even with google map , addresses on TripAdvisor is bit complicated.Food: honesty I would give 5 star. However my appetizer served when we almost finished our 2 pizza & and a pasta.... Seems very normal @ Bella Roma.Service: As early reviewer mentioned that there is no service at all. So donât expect so called service from Bella Roma. Ciao Jack, Thanks for your evaluation of 5 stars on the food. This is what I like to hear since I serve food.Of course I am a bit sad to receive 3 stars instead, since they seem to be given for some factors as location and service. Indeed, the first is a problem of Google Maps which cannot exactly show the location since is in a residential area...I have already claim it long time ago. Sorry if we take some time of your Sunday to find my restaurant. The absence of service is normal since we donât have service charge on the bill. Anyway we apologize for any trouble on it if happened.About the appetizers, I agree and Iâm sorry if it happened. Sure, if it happened, it was for some misunderstanding between staffs and kitchen. Thanks for your review and follow us on facebook, soon #BellaRomataichung will move in an other place and you can experience again Us and enjoy everything.
