Reviews on Italian food in St. Petersburg, Florida, United States. The sun almost always shines on St. Petersburg, the "Sunshine City" that enjoys an average of 361 days of clear skies per year. Combine that with 244 miles of glimmering coastline along Tampa Bay, the Gulf of Mexico, Boca Ciega Bay and the intra coastal waterways and you have one hot beach destination. Catch the sun, surf and sand at Ft. De Soto Park, or take a hike up the 37-mile Pinellas Trail. Enjoy a Devil Rays game during baseball season or escape to the shady oasis of the Sunken Gardens.

Love the varied menu! Wood grilled tilapia flavorful. Shrimp & Scallop Spiedino was lightly breaded and delicious. Grilled sirloin was sent back for not being even warm. Kudos to Mike, manager, and Tristan, our server, for comping this meal as well as our desserts all of which were huge portions and excellent.

Tonite was my first visit to Italia Mia. I was very impressed. Started with quite a nice sized salad, though it was only iceberg, a couple tomato wedges, 2 green olives and a peppercini (nothing impressive), and then ordered the linguine with white clam sauce. It was served piping hot and an abundance of chopped clams perfectly seasoned and served over a bed of linguine cooked to perfection and served with a hot crusty roll. One of the best white clam sauces I've ever had!

I rarely order pasta in restaurants because I worry about it being overcooked, but when I saw the traditional recipe for cacio e pepe, I was curious. Very delicious! Also enjoyed the pappardelle bolognese. The antipasto plate with the meats and cheeses wasnât really anything exciting, but overall was very happy with our dinner.

We treated our friends to dinner at Il Ritorno on a Sunday night. We are all fans of IR, and save our visits for special occasions. Simply there arenât enough words to explain how good this food is. Our entree selections on this evening were the short Rib Mezzaluna, Braised Lamb Spaghetti, Scallop Risotto and the Bucatini Pomodoro. Jeremy was our waiter; he did an excellent job of matching our desired pace. We like this venue, although it can be noisy on a busy night. A reservation is always a good idea. IR is easy to find and parking is always available with a block. We will definitely return.

Food and service by Andrew or superb we feel the wine list could use some work but the drinks were excellent kudos to our bartender. If you have expensive taste can be quite pricey but there are lesser provisions in the menu for a more moderate budget

We were there for a birthday dinner. Greeted immediately, seated immediately, waited on immediately. The service all evening was impeccable! The Barman mixed perfect martinis (Cucumber Basil and Espresso Martinis). The crab stuffed mushroom appetizer had more bread filler than we prefer but tons of cheese on top. Our small Caesar Salads were good. The Sea Bass was very good and my half rack of Lamb was richly seasoned and a very high quality piece of meat. Then they brought Tiramisu as a complimentary birthday dessert while singing Happy Birthday. You donât need to order an appetizer at Gratzzi, the meals are quite filling. Weââre returning to try the Chicken Parmesan and Lasagna at some point down the road!

After walking from a local Hotel for an early dinner we stumbled on Annata. It was just opening but quickly filled up. We ordered two appetizers the avocado toast and the muscles. We had to get more bread for dunking. I would say both are a â10â!! We then ordered the Chicken parmigiana and the rigatoni with meat sauce. Again both are â10â entrees. The service was very good. And the restaurant inside was very comfortable. I travel for a living and this is for sure one of my top 10 world wide picks. When you can eat your Chicken entree with just a fork you know itâs going to be amazing. Great food quality! Canât wait to get back to the area and try it again.

At the recommendation of several friends, we stopped by to visit this amazing market while in the area and were blown away! What an amazing market filled with everything imaginable. A wine and cheese room, bakery, coffee from all over the world...just to name a few! Superb!
