Find out what Italian restaurants to try in St. Augustine. Saint Augustine is a luxurious, romantic vacation spot—you’ll find classic hotels and intimate restaurants. Those can be a dime a dozen, though. What sets Saint Augustine apart is its history—it’s the oldest European settlement in the U.S. And nowhere else in the world can you taste the waters of the Fountain of Youth Archeological Park (where Ponce de Leon may have landed). Who knows, if you vacation here, maybe you won’t need that Botox!

Iâve been coming to Pizza Time for years. Iâve had pizza in Rome, Italy and in New York City - and Pizza Time is my favorite! It is so flavorful and the family who owns and runs it is very entertaining! Love them! My favorite pizza is called âthe whiteâ. Itâs ahhhmazing! Try it! :)

Tourists were everywhere when we visited. Fine with us as we were also doing the tourist thing. Mainly wanted some sangria. They have some of the very best in America. Snacks were expensive. Drinks were not. Service was superb. We appreciate the review and we are glad you stopped in to order our refreshing sangria. Thank you once more and we hope to see you back here again soon!

The Chianti room is located in the back of Pizzalley. We had not eaten there and did not realize it was a separate restaurant. It is nice with a good happy hour. Drinks are two for one and come with a slice of cheese pizza. Pizza is $5.00 off during happy hour so makes for an inexpensive dinner. Next time we will try an Italian dinner which looked good at neighboring tables.Glad you enjoyed it! We make nearly everything from scratch, sauces made to order, homemade desserts, etc. Plenty of options to keep you coming back to try :)

Been wanting to try for a while. Felt like I stepped back in time upon entrance. Unique casual nautical atmosphere. Sat in cozy booth for 2 near bathroom. EXCELLENT garlic bread, salads w/homemade ranch (I wanted to lick my plate) and good wine. Hubby got spaghetti and meatballs=delicious. My salmon meal was very good but I would order something else maybe like scallops carbonara next time. Good prices. Needed some background music as you could hear a pin drop! Will return!

Stopped here for lunch based on recommendations on Trip Advisor. Lunch was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A Stromboli and small pizza was the perfect amount for our family of 4. There is a coupon in the Old Town Trolley coupon book. The trolley stop is almost across the street which made it super convenient. Donât let the the fact that the gas station is connected scare you off.

Lunch here. Roughly 8 tables of 4 tops in dining section. 5 were full, but all had food before we ordered. We had 2 draft beers ($5 each) and shared a large meatball parm sub ($10.95). The waiter was nice if a touch casual, which seems to be the way of things. He brought the beer immediately. 30 minutes later he said the kitchen was almost ready. Really? We were the only ones without food. After 40 minutes I got up and asked what could possibly take 40 minutes to make one sandwich? I understand they might have 'to go' orders, but a dine-in patron should take priority. When it came, the food was very good. Well prepared and tasty. If the place had been crowded, we might have waited over an hour. The waiter apologized, but it wasn't his fault. Still the food was good.Hi Arthur -We're very sorry to hear that your service was slow and food took longer than it should to be delivered to your table. We apologize for this, we hope to have the chance to make it up to you in the future.

I had an amazing meal, it had the right amount of spice. The shrimp etouffee was very good.My husband had the fish and chips which was excellent as well.Service was excellent too.Our first time in St Augustine. I had gotten a little tired of all the fried food, so this was perfect. Welcome to Saint Augustine! Glad you found us! We are a little off the beaten path and you make a great point about fried food being the norm for Southern Restuarants. We also have some of the best fried food in the city like fried shrimp in our Shrimp Po Boy and our Famous Fried Chicken BUT we like to specialize in non fried cuisine as well. The fish and grits are sauted and as you mentioned the etoufee is a great alternative to fried food. For people like your husband that are looking for fried food, our fish and chips are one of our best sellers! Thank you for the lovely review.
