It was not a restaurant as we had imagined, but it was nice all the same. We sat on the village- place and enjoyed a very good and original pizza - what more could you want?

We were in Argeles for a week and ate here four times because we liked it so much. The specials board was a great source of new and interesting food, but the main menu also worked well for us - two adults and four teenagers. All the food we had was delicious and the waitress was extremely friendly and cheerful. It's a family restaurant fun by people originally from Sicily and the cuisine reflects this. Oh - and the house wine was delicious! Chilled tap water is served in old wine bottles, which was charming. My only gripe - one the restaurant has little control over, to be fair - is that the eating area is semi-outdoors so that smoking is allowed under the French rules, which was pretty unpleasant as we're now quite unused to having to put up with other people's cigarette smoke during a meal. However, it was a problem only one night for us.The restaurant is small but does takeaway pizza. It's worth booking, although we did get tables by arriving at 7pm.

This is what you need, hundreds of miles from home, tired and hungry, looking for some great tasting pizza. Really friendly service, lovely pizza base (with the all important burnt crispy edge) and very generous toppings. Such a lovely place. Highly recommended.

The owner's Italian, friendly and funny. Great service. The pricing is excellent with a pizza for 10 euros feeding me and my wife - bargain! We had the rustico and the dough was made from scratch in front of us. Fresh tasty ingredients made for a quality pizza.
It's very low key, feels more like the village bar - frequented by locals. Nice chance (only one in the village?) to sit out in the quiet square. There is an indoor area, but we didn't use it. It's inexpensive, tasty, but by no means fancy dining! We just had pizza and salad. Some other mains available. Vin au pichet was cheap and drinkable. For take out though, I much preferred the stone-baked wood-fired offering from the (take out only) pizza shop on the main street.

We ate in this restaurant during our summer holidays four times thanks to the service and the food. It's a great place for welcoming families, with big TVs - handy at the time for those into the football world cup!The pizzas were lovely and fresh - and creamy, and the staff were "bend over backwards" helpful and friendly. By the third visit they could almost second-guess our orders. We're not big food experimenters, so it was a delight to find that the Emince Indienne (Diced Chicken in a Thai Curry, spelling probably all wrong) was lovely, tender and delicious. Not overly spicy, but tasty all the same.Pricing was very reasonable. There are plenty of restaurants in Argeles-sur-Mer but we found it hard not to go back to La Maison!
Where to eat European food in Sorede: The Best Restaurants and Bars

Pizzeria traditionnelle à l'italienne et cuite au feu de bois, notre chef à 15 ans d'expérience et vous propose des pizzas savoureuses et cuisinées à des prix adaptés à tous les budgets.
We went to Chez Maryline based on the Trip Advisor score and reviews. We were a bit worried about the fact that it recently changed owner, but the pizza that was served was great. Traditionally wood oven products with fresh toppings. I would suggest the chef to try a make the tomato sauce base less sweet and use leerdammer or cheddar cheese instead of Emmenthaler. For us Northern European folks, it is a bit on the sweet side with the rather dominant Emmenthaler cheese that u determines the other toppings and spices a bit. But having said that, it was a great pizza, best we got during our stay.Last but not least, the shop is made-over garage box with simple but very clean furniture and open kitchen which also was very tidy. I guess they have experienced business slowed down an bit since the change of ownership, but that is undeserved based on our experience. If you are on one of the many campings and fed up with improvised cooking and the rather nasty cafeteria on the camp-side premises, go to Chez Maryline for take away or stay pizza. Thank you for your gratefully commentary! See you soonKnow weâve got change our name we are La Fraterie and we made burger and frites cook with beef fat

We were recommended Le Paton and arrived before the crowds on a public holiday evening. We were so lucky they were open. We had the Asparagus pizza which has a ricotta base, then fromage, then chèvre. Absolutely delicious. Seek them out. We were staying in Sorede for a fortnight and on lazy pool days we didn't fancy driving anywhere for dinner (and the local restaurants didn't allow dogs) so we in fact visited twice for takeaway. Pizzas come in small or grande sizes (approx 9 or 12 inch) and, are both generously and evenly topped, with an extensive menu. They are made fresh to order but only take about five minutes. There are four tables (2x 2s and 2x 4s) but they are outside. Staff friendly, pizza delicious, and a selection of alcoholic drinks and desserts also available.
