At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We donât do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. Weâre all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food.Situated in the centre of Solihull and jus
We were looking forward to our meal, and weren't disappointed. Our choice is usually the prawn linguine, and was on this visit. The desert was different but definitely worth a try! It was the new dish - Golden Honeycomb Cheesecake.

ASK Italian in Solihull is a place for great food and warm service. Think fresh bread made to tear and share. A glass of fine wine worth deserving of your time. Delicious main dishes prepared the traditional way. Everything we know and love about Italian
Service: My BF and I have given this place several second chances but the last two times weâve been there weâve literally walked out because no one bothered to take our drinks or food order even though the place was dead (not surprising!). The last (and final time) the two people serving clearly couldnât be bothered and just stood at the bar talking and swearing - they could clearly see we were waiting to be served - even to ask if we wanted some drinks would have been nice! Food: When weâve actually managed to get some food, itâs not been great at all, especially for the prices. They really should take a leaf out if Stratford-upon-Avon branch who have excellent service and tasty food. Canât understand why the service is so bad - surely a chain restaurant should keep the same standards across all restaurants!ââI think management need to step in and either close this place down or sort it out!

When we first opened our dream restaurantin March of 2004, our primary goal was to recreate âMade in Italy flavorsâ at a high standard of culinary and service excellence, while offering great value to the local community. Now over 8 years later, it is saf

Italian restaurant based in the heart of Acocks Green. We take pride in preparing all our food to order on the premises using the finest fresh produce and ingredients
Having read the reveiws, I think we may have caught this restaurant on an off-day as our experience was not great. Visited for a family occasion and were 'greeted' by a surly member of staff. He seemed especially miffed when we didn't order drinks (just tap water). Took forty minutes for four pizzas and then one of the orders was incorrect, despite us being the only people in the whole restaurant! Barely an apology and then a further wait for the correct dish. Pizzas were disappointingly sparse of toppings, very greasy and worryingly uniformed in shape. No pizza-cutter offered nor provided. The knives that were given were barely adequate for the job. Our table seemed to be attracting numerous fruit flies throughout our meal which was off-putting.

Sunday late lunch at this restaurant with freinds was amazing. Met up with freinds who use this Restaurant all the time. Such a freindly ,warm atmosphere ,and Susanne the Head Waitress made it so nice and welcoming for us. The meal was Delicious , beautiful flavours and very reasonable on price. The nice thing about this establishment is that you can see the very capable chefs ,prepare and cook your food if you wish ,through the gap to the kitchen area .Becoming a very popular venue now and really you have to book before you go as not to be dissappointed.I would say A Cut Above The Norm to describe this little Gem of a Restaurant. Also with this restaurant, you take your own drinks which keeps the cost down but worth every lira.

We were heading to a concert in Birmingham city hence our reservation was booked for 5pm. I had been looking forward to this visit - my first, for a long time as I used to visit the original restaurant âLa Carvernaâ for many years. I only found out just before the visit that the owners had sold up last year but reviews on tripadvisor reassured me. How wrong was I! From the minute we were seated, my heart was sinking. The restaurant was not ready for business. Our table wasnât even laid when we sat down. This was hurriedly done. It was cold, I had to ask for the door to be closed. From the time we entered to the time we left, the owner & staff were talking loudly about reservations, moving tables & generally trying to sort the evening reservations out. We felt like we were in the way! Pictures on wall were cheap & crooked, cutlery was old, odd & like something that had been around for years! Now the food - I ordered king prawns - 4 in total, barely warm & tasteless, absolutely no flavour. My buddy had the crab cocktail, smothered in Marie Rose sauce & he couldnât decipher exactly what he was eating. Mains - Monkfish & i has Steak Diane. The tasteless theme followed through to mains - absolutely no flavour whatsoever. Extra for side of potatoe & greens. In total cost wise for 2 starters, 2 mains & 2 small glasses of house red £75.00. Daylight robbery & I can honestly say if we had gone to McDonalds we would have had a better meal.I take no pleasure in having to write this review, so disappointed & bewildered that it could be so bad especially when reading the majority of other reviews??? Guys you need to up your game & provide better service & food. I wonât be returning - if iâm not already stating the obvious

This was our first visit and we went for Sunday lunch with friends. Very friendly staff, good choice menu. I was impressed not being faced with pages full of pizzas. The food was delicious and we all enjoyed our lunch. Good parking outside the restaurant. Definitely worth a return visit.

This is a general Mediterranean restaurant rather than a specific national cuisine. The food was well prepared and presented. The special Groupon menu is a little limited and the Groupon advert does not seem to indicate this as clearly as one would like.

I don't think that this restaurant is listed on TA at the moment, and I would like to submit a review.
Love this restaurant... always a warm welcome... olives and three styles of fresh cooked bread to snack on... cracking bottle of Pino Grigio Rose ... Garlic Prawns .... ( Prawns .... looked more like baby Lobsters ! ) .. both had Filleto al Pepe .... with Creamy mash and fresh Spinach . still has to be one of the best steaks in the West Midlands. Some may say itâs a bit expensive..... but we think..... you get what you pay for... xthank you

Sapore is an independent Italian restaurant in the heart of the Midlands.
Glass of wine has washing up liquid, replaced and refilled by waiter. Music loud. Meatballs starter in cheese sauce lovely. Veal dish was tough and very, very salty. Pasta dishes average. Really looking forward to trying this restaurant but would not return. Food was presented nicely though, shame about taste.
