Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Slubice. Słubice [swuˈbʲit͡sɛ] (German Dammvorstadt) is a border town in the Lubusz Voivodeship of western Poland. Located on the Oder river, directly opposite the city of Frankfurt (Oder) in Germany, of which it was a part until 1945 (as Dammvorstadt). At the 2011 census, the town had a total population of 18,000 (urban agglomeration Słubice-Frankfurt 85,000). Previously located in the Gorzów Wielkopolski Voivodeship (1975–1998), the town is currently the capital of Słubice County and the administrative seat of the Gmina Słubice.

Frankfurt/Oder is sleepy provincial town and therefore does not have many good restaurant options. But as every German town has several Italian restaurants, it's not surprising has some too.Ristorante Fratelli is just across bridge that crosses from Germany into Poland. It is a quite big place that is not particularly cozy but also not bad.I ordered Penned alla Fratelli (â¬11.50) and an Insalata Mista (â¬4.50). The mixed salad was small and very basic. It was drowned in balsamic dressing, which didn't help. The Penne alla Fratelli looked and tasted not traditional Italian but was quite tasty. The Penne were small and uneventful, the sauce has pieces of beef with (too much) garlic and spicy pepperonis in a light (but watery) tomato sauce.Overall Fratelli is more a 3.5 but within context of Frankfurt/Oder I gave it 4 rather than 3 stars. Very acceptable Italian.

Zamowilam Sandwich z kurczakiem - czyli kanapke z bulki , z warzywami, zapiekana z chrupiaca skorka - pycha ! Myslalam, ze przeplacilam i wyjde glodna, ale nic z tych rzeczy, duzo warzyw, kurczak grilowany, mozna sie najesc ! Pyszna ! Co do ciast to trafialam roznie, ale to byla raczej kwestia gustu niz wykonania. Bardzo pyszne Brownie, slodziutkie i mokre.

Das Lucca ist sicherlich nicht das beste Restaurant aber die Speisen sind alle lecker und günstig. Es ist eine wirklich gute Alternative zu Mensa der Viadrina. Die Salate schmecken alle gut und sind frisch zubereitet. Die Pizzen und Pasta fast wie beim Italiener. Ich werde sicherlich noch das ein oder andere Mal dorthin gehen.
