The proprietor of this vinoteca/restaurant is famous, and rightly so! A tiny place, serving around 25, seated in two storeys, plus, weather permitting, a few tables outdoors. Here, on offer, are exviting wines and Champagne, cold cuts of the highest quality from Spain and Italy, a salad, some cheese, a couple of really good pastas, two mains and a couple of desserts. Simple but awesome. Extremely popular and a must to visit!!

Osteria da Gamma is a basic family owned quite stable restaurant in a small village called Roddino. Area is specific for world quality wines such as Barolo and, Barbaresco. There is no a menu booklet for you to choose. Everything served in this restaurant has been selected by Gemma for you before...:) You will be quite happy when and, after eating the served food with a good table wine or selected another bottled wine. Totally, nine kinds of delicious foods including deserts you eat with a nice red wine (Of course, you may choose white wine also). I have had eaten there at least three times in different periods and no surprise at each time. This hidden high quality and considerably at a good price family restaurant deserves your selection although not located in central position. If you are luck you van also watch the making process of fresh tagliatella by Gemma (but, I was not last time)...Please, call the restaurant and reserve your table before going there to prevent standing still almost 40 to 50 minutes...:)Do not search for th ephone numer... That is it...0173 794252.

Our second meal in the Langhe was at this modest place in the Pizza of Montelupo Albese. A lovely hilltop village with astounding views and interesting artworks on the walls of the houses. (Not exactly Banksie but do wander around and look!) Emanuela, the hostess is charming and explains the menu in detail. We ended up taking 4 courses as it all sounded so enticing. We particularly liked the local pasta dishes - tajarin and agnoletti del plin, and our sweet and sour rabbit main course was delicious as were the desserts. We drank modestly, taking a bottle of the local village-produced Arneis at â¬10 (very light and fruity) and a moscatel d'Asti with dessert - again just right. We paid around â¬80 and really enjoyed our meal

This restaurant is part of the "Il Boscareto resort", a couple of miles outside the community of Serralunga d'Alba, in the heart of the Langhe. The luxurious resort offers superb lodging in a beautiful building that sits on top of one of the many hills in the Langhe. The view is spectacular, and the resort is surrounded by vineyards. From here, you can see several of the other communities of the Alba conglomerate: Barolo land! The spa offers Turkish and steam baths and a full wellness center. The restaurant is sparingly and elegantly furnished, with simple lines and subdued colors. Service is discreet and efficient. The tasting menu changes with the availability of ingredients and the Michelin-starred chef requires the freshest of all components for his exceptionally delicious creations. Relax and let the chef do the heavy lifting. This will be a memorable experience.Dear Gabriel,Thank you for sharing your experience with us.We are extremely glad you enjoyed Il Boscareto. The location, the SPA, the restaurant and all the services are meant to spoil our guests and your words make us proud and happy.Greetings from Serralunga D'Alba!Lorena, Il Boscareto Resort & SPA Team

URI is the name that tells our story, our cooking thoughts and the desire to share a dream. We chose this Korean term for its beautiful meaning: the word URI is translated as "us", "our", but also commonly used as possessive "mine". It indicates above all
Located in a perfect location, especially when the season allows views from the terrace, this lovely chef(s) run restaurant is a wonderful dining experience. The youthful excitement evident with the slightest tweaking of regional classics is like a breath of fresh air. The beautiful presentation, freshness of ingredients and exquisite taste allows the flavors to jump off the plate. The simple, clean, elegance of the decor allows one to feel peacefully comfortable. A truly memorable meal in Piemonte.

We were lucky enough to be able to combine stay at the castle (thanks to our friend who did research and Denise who helped us with choosing the best suite) and at the same time experience delicious food Denise creates every day with the help of her very attentive staff. I loved that you are invited by the staff into a very beautiful room when your table is ready. Before that you can enjoy drink in a little charming living room with nice bar. Dinner - Great menu choices, as well as wine selection. Food is delish. Strongly recommend if you are staying in Castello or visiting the area. Enjoy!

Traveling through the PIedmonte region, we found this lovely trattoria for our lunch. It's obviously a local favorite as there were a number of locals there. We were seated quickly under a beautiful tree and overlooking the valley. The setting was so special that the food was secondary - almost. They had a very nice and varied menu so we had no problem selecting - and we chose their ravioli in a light cream sauce. It was incredible, and went quite well with their wines, which we definitely enjoyed. After all, we were in Piedmonte! This was a delightful experience and just reinforces our observation that Italy has the best food and wine!

We went on wednesday for lunch but anticipated that tuesday and wednesday were closing days. With motherday on thursday ahead we tried to to have an appointment and noticed, the first contact to be friendly and very detailed explanations about the various options possible. We had a short lunch with one plate and desert. The Quality of the different plates for the 5 People in our group was all rated as exceptionally good and tasty, and all homemade ingredientsThe ice cream was fantastic and homemade aswell.Coming so many years to Serralunga d'Alba i regret not visiting this restaurant before. The restaurant has an inviting outside terrace. The outstanding rating given for a short lunch might be exagerated, but having dining allover the world one can judged that this Osteria demonstrate Quality and service guaranteed.

This restaurant was absolutely worth the 2 hour drive. We had a great Saturday lunch with prefix menu. Every dish was delicious and portions very generous. The menu consisted of a variety of meat and pasta dishes, very typical piedmont cuisine. The trio of desserts is something I will dream about for a long time. Wine recommendations were great and much appreciated. I highly recommend this place and will come back whenever Iâm back in the area. This is truly a gem. The family running it is very nice and sweet. Great value. Spectacular view of the nearby vineyards.
