But this is some real good pizza. Fresh made, hand tossed right then. The sauce is very good, as is the dough, and amount of cheese. Had this pizza over the weekend while on a short trip with the grandson and niece and nephew. The kids said they weren't very hungry (they had been eating all freakin day) but I knew if I got something they would eat some of it. I was right and the pizza was gone after about 8 minutes, and they all loved it to.The folks here were nice enough to cook some bacon on the side so one of the kids could have bacon on his slices. I would stop here again without question, but yes, only after trying some of the other pizza's in the area:) Have to give everyone a try, it's the only way to know who's best, and who's in 2nd if 1st place is closed.

Serving casual, handmade Italian cuisine in the heart of downtown Burlington. Menu features fresh pastas, Italian entrees, Neapolitan style pizza from the wood fired oven, antipasti, Wood Mountain Fish seafood, and homemade gelato sundaes for dessert. A k
On a nice summer day there is outdoor seating on Church Street. Large restaurant space one level downstairs. Cute - but a little dark. On a weekend evening the service was slow, but the dishes were all excellent. Reasonable prices for this level of place.

My college aged son and I had a lovely dinner tonight. The pesto gnocchi with arugula was delicious and the special lasagna was huge and full of meat and cheese. Service was friendly. We will be back!

The place was packed so always a good sign for good food and we were not disappointed. Be sure to make reservations. We enjoyed the peach salad and lobster pasta which was excellent. After dinner we selected The cannoli but was a bit disappointed with the strong lemon flavor. Service was excellent as was the environment. Lovely place! Enjoy!

We are a full service Neapolitan pizzeria with a focus on exceptional Italian cuisine, inspired craft cocktails, and a well-informed, engaging staff.
We get to Burlington about 1x a year to visit family, and Pizzeria Verita has become a favorite. Tasty pizza and great apps, lots of local ingredients. A few segregated-oven gluten free pizza choices (and many more no-gluten-ingredient choices if you aren't celiac & don't mind your pizza cooked in the wood-fired oven that the regular pizzas use). Great drinks list and nice wine list with some hidden gems & values.Responsive service.Do reserve ahead of time *or* get there early *or* drop in and eat at the bar. Otherwise, prime time no-reservation wait for a table might be very long.Thank you so much for taking a moment to review your experiences with us at Pizzeria Verità , I'm so glad you've enjoyed them. I appreciate your highlighting our gluten-free pizza -- it's important to a lot of people and we take food sensitivities and allergies very seriously. And thank you for suggesting reservations, it's always a good idea. Hope to see you soon! Best, Leslie

We felt like eating pasta so we went to Olive Garden during our trip to Vt. Waiting time was about 10 minutes. We had amazing drinks to start with, then all you can eat salad and bread sticks. I had spaghetti with meat sauce and shrimps and my friend had chicken alfredo pasta. We were so full so we did not get to try the dessert unfortunately because they looked heavenly. Forgot the name of the waitress but she was super nice and even the manager or owner came to say hi to us as we were eating.

Modern Italian Cuisine and Lounge. Intimate dining with a clean updated look and a fun lounge stiffed with padded cairs and hammered copper tables. Pleanty of room to host a family style get together or intimate enough for a special night out.
This restaurant will raise the bar in the area We had dinner on Sunday and it was the first time since we were there when it was the old place. They did a wonderful job on the decorating of reconstruction and the food was excellent, probably better than almost any restaurants in the entire area.Thank you for your kind review. We could not be more thrilled to serve each and every new guest, especially ones who knew what Buonos was and how far we've taken it. We are working hard to become the best in the area and raise the bar for standards as well. It's refreshing to see it's paying off. We hope to see you again in the near future. As always buono appetito!

I have been here about four times. I really like the staff. I've had the pizza which was good...thin and crispy. My boyfriend had the sausage and peppers with linguine which he loved. Last night I ordered the chicken parmesan and it was really good but very, very small.

We went for an early dinner after picking our son up at UVM. The restaurant is located in a small shopping area in Shelburne. The menu offers appetizers, salads, pizzas, pastas and entrees. Everything can be personalized with lots of choices. The servers were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was comfortable. There were local families and couples there. Our food was fresh and delicious. Definitely recommended especially if youâre looking for a place away from the Burlington hustle and bustle.
