This restaurant will not get my business ever again. I have been there on four occasions and each time the same waitress has had very poor customer service skills. I never receive my food in a timely manner and it is not that good. I wouldn't waste the trip.
Das mit Abstand beste Eis in Schweinfurt!Neben der Qualität stimmt auch die Quantität, die Kugel sind groÃ.Nicht nur das Eis, auch Espresso und Cappuccino sind sehr lecker.

Near the city center, Sul-Meno is a great place for standard Italian fare on a sunny warm day. When the weather is cold or rainy, the interior is at best OK. The pizza and food entrées are old standards. They rarely have items not on the printed menu. For what it is, it is good.

Six of us ate there on a weekend evening. We booked early and watched as the restaurant filled to near its capacity. The Ligure is a former inner city gasthaus and still shows signs of its former use. The interior is average, at best. The menu was standard Italian fare and there was a chalk board with the specials of the day. Three of us ordered from the specials and three from the printed menu. I had the tuna steak and specified exactly how I expected it prepared. Obviously, the pan was not hot enough as the steak was slow cooked. The exterior was nearly the same as the interior. I had specified that the exterior be dark and crispy and the interior uncooked. This is the way most tuna lovers choose to have their meal. When the tuna is the most expensive item on the menu, you presume they can cook it to order. The other special was a prawns dish that looked and tasted very good, but the portion was skimpy. Preparation was not an issue with those dishes. The menu items were average to average plus in terms of preparation, presentation and portion size. The house wines were average quality, at best. While the prices were not exorbitant, they noticeably above average. We would eat at the Ligure again if we could not get a table at several better Italian restaurants in town

We called in here and were met by a bored waitress. She did not want to be here at all. The house rule is that you must go outside if you order a cone or a cup of ice cream. It was 2 degrees and I had to leave my party to go outside to have the ice cream .. Truly bizarre and not friendly .. Staff need proper training and owner needs to change his approach .. Until then best avoided.

Ate at Aposto with work colleagues, very good pizza and service was pleasant enough. They catered for a vegan in our group with no fuss or problems. I had the Brandstifter pizza, the base was excellent and the toppings generous. We sat outside overlooking the marketplace, I would recommend.Hi Pete, thanks for rating us. We are pleased to hear, you loved our dishes. We are always happy to get positive feedback. See you soon, your Aposto team.

We went to the Mediterranea on the recommendation of trusted friends and found it to be as good as they said. The restaurant was very crowded, but we had reserved a table. While not a classy restaurant, it was nicely decorated, but needs noise dampers such as curtains. The menu had a large selection of pastas, pizzas and a variety of other dishes. We only tried the pizzas and salads. The wood oven pizzas were as good as the best in town and better than most. The salads were fresh and tasty. We shall certainly come back to try the main courses. If they are as good as the pizzas, this could easily become our favorite in town. The service is excellent and everyone on the staff is your server - that is what makes it so good. For either the quantity or the quality the value is excellent. At Mediterranea getting both is an extra bonus.Highly Recommended.

This is my first visit in Schweinfurt. I was looking @ tripadvisor for my preferred kitchen: Italian, and was informed by previous visitors about âLa Dolce Vita.âActually the quotation should be 6 in stead of 5. Quality of food, service, the chef coming in the restaurant to ask for my opinion... an ideal combination...Just an excellent treatment!Congratulations!

Several years ago, Vicinoteca was one of our favorite restaurants in Schweinfurt. In 2014 we had several disappointing experiences there and had not been back until this visit. Fortunately, the restaurant has regained its reputation for excellence and I can again recommend it. The dining area is very cramped. Many guests were seated on high bar stools and ate their meals from small round cocktail tables. As the restaurant is always crowded, reservations are strongly recommended. The menu features the usual Italian favorites. We four had and shared orders of Calamari, Ossobucco, Miesmuscheln, and a Spaghetti Bolognese. My Calamari was one of the best I have ever had, but it came with only a small portion of bread. The Ossobucco was very nicely seasoned, but the meat was stringy. The Miesmuschel had such tasty seasoning that I ranked them among the very best I have eaten. Unfortunately they came with no starch and we had to order two portions of Italian Bread at 4⬠per roll sized portion. Most restaurants include the bread as part of the price with Calamari, or Miesmuschel. The Spaghetti Bolognese was the least expensive main courses on the menu and was good, but nothing special. With a kitchen this good I recommend that you try things that you cannot get in every other Italian restaurant. The wines, as always, were very good. Vicinoteca has a small but fine selection. Our past experience is that they can be trusted, especially for moderately priced quality wines The wait staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. The four of us ate for 82â¬. Vicinoteca is again among the cities very best restaurants.

We have been regular customers at Pomodoro Osteria since it opened in Schweinfurt. It has been a place where the quality of the food, preparation and service are consistently outstanding. As often as we have eaten there, the menu always features something new among the list of old favorites. The house wines can be trusted to be good and worth the price. The selection of bottled wines is always changing, but also reliable. People who know Italian wines will see many famous labels and many excellent values among the less familiar names. The service is friendly and personal, even when it is crowded. That is very rare! For the food and the wine, there is something good in every price range. I always like to try new restaurants, but I never hesitate to come back to Pomodoro.
