For a small restaurant in a semi non commercial area it was a very nice surprise. The pasta's are a must have and (most) are homemade. I had the fettuccine noodles with an arrabbiata sauce. Our server advised me that the noodles were a little larger than a regular fettuccine noodle and I was OK with that. The sauce was really good and had a nice heated spice to it. The portions are very generous and I enjoy the left overs for lunch the next day. Service was very good, atmosphere was pleasant and the price was so reasonable, especially for what you received. I would of paid double for that same meal in another restaurant. I would highly recommend this quaint little restaurant. I would suggest making reservations if you wanted to go on the weekend.

Dropped by for dinner in July. We very much enjoyed our meals, chicken strips and pasta with meatballs. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge. Every meal comes with soup or salad and bread. My main course actually came on two plates, one for the pasta and one for the meatballs. Overall a nice restaurant with good food and great value. Definitely recommend.

Went with a party of 8. It took 2 hours to get our main course which was ok but surely not fine dinning. Our waitress kept walking away while we tried to order and seemed inexperienced. Well the bill came there was a small discrepancy and when it was brought to the owner he was extremely rude in the middle of the restaurant and proceeded to talk about us to another table. We spent just under $1000 for an experience you could get at any mall food court. Avoid this place Sault Ste Marie has many great restaurants to chose from, this is not one.

My daughter and I attended Fratellis when we found ourselves in Sault Ste Marie after an emergency trip north. We were exhausted and hungry. We ordered the meat tortellini and the panzerotti and shared them. The flavours were amazing! Our waitress was extra sweet and spoiled us by giving us Oreo balls for dessert- which is exactly what we needed. This would be my favourite restaurant if we lived here.

While staying at a downtown Airbnb, we wandered down the street for breakfast this morning shortly after Muioâs opened at 7:00 a.m. It was everything youâd expect from a local diner. It specializes in all the typical diner breakfast items - eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, pancakes, French toast, even steak and eggs. We had poached eggs and peameal/back bacon with toast, and sunny side up eggs, bacon and home fries with toast. Both were hot and tasty, although it appeared the home fries had been sitting for a while as they were a bit dry. Service was very fast, friendly and attentive. Our coffee cups were never empty. With tax and a 20% tip our bill for two came to $22, very reasonable in our view for breakfast. Weâd come back to Muioâs and would recommend it.

Hubby and I were celebrating a special anniversary and had made reservations. We were seated immediately at a table by the window, actually our favorite place. We started with the calamari appetizer. After the house salad, fresh bread and roasted garlic, we were getting full. I had ordered the linguine puttanesca and hubby the homemade fettuccine with shrimp and scallops. Both meals came with big pieces of seafood and were too much to finish. The dishes were well- cooked and perfectly flavored. Before we were able to say we were too full to order a dessert, our waitress came with a complementary piece of raspberry cheesecake because it was our anniversary. This is our go-to place for special meals when weâre in the Sault and it always delivers!

From the simple house salad with an excellent vinaigrette to the Italian bread this was a very good meal. Meatballs were delicious, Lake Superior pickerel excellent and spaghetti with garlic and oil great. The only disappointment were the gnocchi, some of which were very good, others over cooked. Was this a function of reheating unevenly in a microwave?

We talked to locals about the best pizza in town. This place was highly recommended. It was terrible terrible service. The pizza itself was just poor. Lightly topped it was properly cooked. It arrived 45 minutes late. There is a $6 delivery charge. Despite the fact that we ordered multiple salads to a hotel room, no cutlery was included! Aurora thinks their customers should eat salads with their hands! We tipped the delivery guy $5 more and 40 minutes and 2 phone calls later some one arrived with cutlery. Yippee. We are now eating 2 and 1/2 hours after we ordered!! Minor apologies but no attempt to do anything substantive to reflect any real concern about us and a complaint to us about how difficult it was for them!

Located on the Main Street in downtown Sault Ste. Marie. Cozy restaurant with warm decor. Note that the restaurant is very small, and a locals favorite, so reservations are recommended. The menu has interesting options and all the dishes we ordered were well prepared and tasty. Prices are moderate/high. There is complimentary bruschetta before dinner and then complimentary bread with dinner. The salads that come with the dinner entrees were delicious and well dressed. The Gamberoni fra diavolo was very tasty and it had enough spice to add flavor but not so much to make it impossible to eat . Papperdelle allo zafferano was delicious and well prepared. We asked our server to change the papperdelle for angel hair and they were gracious to do it.
