We were staying not far from this restaurant in a villa that is actually owned by the same gentleman who owns this restaurant! Our villa was as lovely as the restaurant. From the main road through Castagneto Carducci the restaurant doesn't look much, but you can drive through a narrow archway (parking is available but limited), and you are rewarded with the most amazing view of the Tuscan Hills! We went for my boyfriends birthday dinner, had a fab table on the edge so we could see the beautiful view and sunset. We ate in the restaurant, there is also a separate part which is the pizzeria. The service and food was fantastic, pasta to die for and lovely wines. I would definitely recommend this lovely gem, it's not in the main town area, just on the road coming in or out of CC depending which way you are going!a heartfelt thanks from all the staff of Il Vecchio Frantoio restaurant, we hope to see you soon!
La Bandita offers menus based on products and ingredients from the traditional Tuscan cuisine. All our vegetables, meat and fruit are zero km: all crops and livestock come directlty from our farm. We will satisfy your taste buds with the magic combination
Canât say enough about this restaurant as guests staying in the hotel we couldnât draw ourselves away as the food was so good. The daily menu changes every day, most of the produce comes from their estate thus ensuring freshness and homemade authentic taste. All served on a romantic terrace, gaunt operatic music playing under the stars of Tuscan nights. You will not be disappointed. Stick to the local wines as they are very good.

If you in love with good food and fantastic location, that is the place. The restaurant is in a villa in the countryside with amazing view. The cousin is an authentic Tuscany cuisine. I loved the brasato, absolutely tasty, and the pork with apples!!

Atmophear...is very coozy on the small outside portico facing the restaurant. The menu is small but very exciting.with local flavours combination. The antipasto had delicious ham and salami, as main course a very tasty tagliata ( a sliced biff ) with mashroomsBeing originally a wine cellar the choice of wine is great and very low priced. We followed Francesco suggestion for some local wines from Bolgheri area that are among the very best I have ever tasted. Really incredible price / quality at just under 20 ⬠a blottle!! I bought more to impress our friends at home.As policy Francesco is charging the same price for wines at table as if you were buying winesfor take away. This is really awesome!!Some of our kids wanted to have less advanced dishes then the ones on menu and asked for pasta with normal tomat sauce...no problem...with a smile smile everything was arrangedIt's great to see that some restaurants owner do care about clients satisfaction and are so concerned in making sure the customers leaves with a good memoryMy friends commented that for the first time they experienced special Italian dinners as only seen in moviesStarters 10â¬First dishes 10-12â¬Second dishes 10-14â¬Wines....mind blowing! At different prices, our was at 19⬠-and really superb.

Sometimes country restaurants in Tuscany can be challenging for vegetarians / vegans (a couple of pasta dishes), but at La Cerreta there was a really good choice of vegetable dishes, much grown on the biodynamic farm. Excellent selection of bio wines.

You can always find wonderful food in Italy, particularly in Tuscany, Drago Bria'o is an amazing little restaurant which simply takes food to a higher level! The name of the restaurant translates to the drunken dragon and that is easy to tell why. Here we are in the region of the Super Tuscan wines, which you can of course enjoy with your dinner here, but Tiziano, the owner also offers an amazing choice of local artisan Tuscan beers, and for lunchtime on a hot day this was just perfect - we had already been trying a little of the Super Tuscan though.Food is of course highly authentic, cold meats through to a soup in a bun (bread) to a main course to desert. The restaurant is tucked away in Castagneto Carducci, hidden among the backstreets, but like so many wonderful things in life, the best things are often little secrets. If you come and eat here, you will want to return for more. The food is wonderful, the service is excellent, the welcome is like you're seeing you family after a break of a year. You are most warmly embraced here. It is well worthwhile taking a walk along the back streets to discover this wonderful little gem.

When we arrive - the kitchen was closed. But the owner organize the lynch for us - perfect pasta with ragu, salads and perfect collection of cheeses. Try fresh one with pistachio. It is something unbelievable. Thanks one more time for such good time and delicious fresh food

We had a great lunch here. The seating on the terrace is very peaceful. The service was very hospitable. The food is very good. It is very focused on meat, so if you like meat go for a "secondi" when you're here. The pasta was good as well and the mixed salad was fresh and large.Grazie per la sua gentile recensione cordiali salutiNadia Pretolani

Only handmade typical Tuscan cuisine, including dishes "Maremma Toscana", pasta with wild boar, hare, ragu "Chianina" typical Tuscan salami, local wine pouring, moderately priced. WI-FI Zone
We were a group of adults, kids and doggies and were accommodated with a smile. Lorenzo is a fantastic host and had tricks up his sleeve to make everyone happy from his delicious combination of burrato, poppone and tropea onions to special treats for crying kids. A tiny gem in one of the most picturesque piazze on the Tuscan Coast. Super Tuscan Experience!!! GRAZIE MILLE LORENZO!!!
