At the suggestion of the staff in a local cafe, we went to this place when we were looking for something for lunch. From the outside it looked somewhat unimpressive, but we went in and found it absolutely thronged with people, all eating with gusto. There are no menus, no prices on display, and the waitress spoke no English - but don't worry, I swear you'll enjoy it! We had 2 lunches comprising roast veal with french fries, a dish that had gnocchi, pasta and ragout, a large bowl of salad, mineral water and half a litre each of white and red wine. Total bill â¬15 and truly delicious. I wish we had been staying in the area longer!

Insignito dalla regione Lombardia come locale storico e di tradizione dal 1811 A gestione familiare da ben cinque generazioni con cucina tipica locale e regionale..
I have been here for the first time in mid Dec, 2013 with 16 friends that booked for me. We were seated in a room that was just for us and we received all the necessary attentions from the several waitresses. All people were very kind and fast to serve. The food was good, antipasti a little too classic, (prosciutto salame etc) while the primi really were nice, (risotto with red radicchio and taleggio and even the home made ravioli were good). Really excellent the main courses, I tried from my friends veal filet and fried frogs legs (crispy outside and tender inside.... very delicious) while for me I asked something outside the long list of suggestions and I had anyway what I wanted, tartare beef (raw fresh beef chopped and seasoned with capers egg etc.). Very good! I skipped the dessert and took only a lemon sorbet. We had red and white wine from Lugana (Ronchedone Ca' dei frati and Montresor) for a total of 45 â¬/each.It was not cheap for the place in Brembilla, but the quantity, variety and type of food was definitely excellent. I do suggest to try it. We stay there until 00:45 without any complain from the owner.

A lovely place nestled in the hills not far from Bergamo. We were welcomed warmly despite being the only foreigners in the place. Authentic, home cooked food served in huge quantities all for very little money. Highly recommended!

The restaurant offers a limited choive which as always the sign of a good restaurant because everything is fresh, local and in-season. The choice ranges from meat over fish to vegetarian dished. Everything is prepared fresh on the premisses. A typical meal would include home made ravioli, fresh trout with vegetables and creme caramel or panna cotta accompanied by water from Fuipiana and excellent local wines. This is one restaurant jamie Oliver would love as it represents every he stands for. To me it is one of the top restaurants in Northern Italy.

I had a fantastic lasagne, creative experimental risotto, all sorts of cheese, excellent meat and starters (and afters ) mixed with the exceptional experience of high mountain air, warm friendly humor of the host and her chef, who IS truly good. I wish I lived nearby so I could enjoy this place as often as I like : )Grazie mille per la sua recensione, siamo felici che le sia piaciuta la nostra cucina con le "variazioni" dello chef. A presto,Sara e Robi

The excellent restaurant view the valley offers the pleasure of getting lost in a variety of flavors typical of regional cuisine, Delicious fresh pasta dishes, succulent dishes of our game, accompanied by local wines or a wide range of fine wines, conclud
We enjoyed the perfect dinner with very prepared personnel and a great atmosphere. We tasted the buffet first (veggies and fresh green), then we had local dishes: foiade (typical fresh pasta) and pappardelle with mushrooms, meat with polenta and local dessert (a cake with figues, choco chips and corn). We finished with Lemon-grapefruit-mango sorbet. Prices are good and wines are excellent with a very good choice. We really experienced love for the territory and love for guests. Every detail is studied and well set, mixing old and new, tradition and innovation.

We enjoyed dinner here, having chosen one of the tasting menus - the seafood one. Each course, together with the complimentary appetiser at the beginning and petit fours with limoncello at the end, was delicious. The dishes were also beautifully prepared and presented and the suggested wine was excellent.Service is both friendly and efficient and the room has a pleasant ambienceThe restaurant is quite small and booking would be advisable. This is not cheap - tasting menu â¬60, wine â¬28 - but does, I believe, offer value for money.

Staying for a week at the Miramonti Resort in close-by Rota D'Imagna, we wanted a change of scene for dinner, and our hotel owner recommended this place and booked us in. It wasn't a great evening weatherwise, so although the restaurant has a nice outside terrace, we decided to eat inside. It was also midweek, and it turned out we were the only diners that night, which was a shame. However, we could not have been better welcomed nor looked after by lovely Monica, the chef's wife - and don't worry about her English, she was great. The restaurant is beautifully homely inside, it's like being in someone's living room, with plenty of things to catch your eye, although there were also plenty of tables in a larger room at the rear. I'd love to have been there on a busy summer evening... We chose the tasting menu, I think this might have been 30 or 35 euros each, and the food was all delightful, and we weren't made to feel rushed at all. My partner asked for a different 1st course, as there was something on the al a carte menu he particularly wanted, and that was changed with no difficulty whatsoever. Good wine selection also, and we were offered a complimentary brandy to finish. The icing on the cake for us was that, as we wanted to have a few drinks, our hotel very kindly gave us a lift there, and Monica herself drove us back to the hotel - I'm not sure if this works on more busy evenings or times of year though! Absolutely recommend. A bit of local cooking with good ingredients and a high standard all round. Enjoy!
