This restaurant was a real find. The service is very friendly. One of our party has a food intolerance and they were catered for.The food is fresh and the portions are huge! My Mussel starter was much bigger than a main course portion at other restaurants. You really will not go wrong eating here.

We had dinner here a couple of times during our stay in Sorrento. The service is very good and the food very good value. Delicious lasagne and Limoncello spritz were my favourites as were the pizzas. Complementary limoncellos were given out during dinner and on our way out. Relaxing and fun!

We stayed at the hotel so had breakfast here each morning. We also had dinner here twice during our stay. The view from the restaurant is stunning. More importantly the staff, especially Sara and Luka, made us feel welcome and provided excellent service. Truly a fine dining experience!

The Castore Restaurant is in a wonderful location and enjoys a privileged position in the midst of the green hills of the Sorrento Peninsula. For all our events the Castore reserves the location for the exclusive use of the interested participants. The re

Consigliamo i nostri clienti di prenotare il tavolo in quanto abbiamo posti a sedere interni limitati
...as this is a relatively secret place, amd one of the last places around Sorrento which is feeling like origin and old Italy. I do not want that this gets destroyed. The place is magic, away from touristic bahooo, it is calm and ancient. Pizza are of excellent quality and are served across the street. Sitting in the village piazza together with the inhabitants of the small village. This is real Italy. Thank you for this place!

A bit out of the way in Piano but overall worth it. The starters were amazing (stuffed flowers), my main of special fish pasta was a little short on fish but very tasty, good wine selection, very attentive staff

Don't be fooled by the title of Bistro, this is a proper restaurant with tableclothes and immaculate service. It's a little way out of Sorrento, go by taxi don't try to walk the road is quite dangerous and narrow. The kitchen is ambitious, the food beautifully prepared; the kitchen is open to the dining room so the food preparation is on show so quite theatrical. The food is strong on fish and seafood which is to be expected given it's location but meat is it's speciality. Extensive wine list, very friendly staff.

Here in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere you can enjoy a delicious dish from the rotisserie or one of our excellent pizzas.
Rather embarrassingly we ate pizza from here on 4 occasions whilst staying at the Grand La Pace for 2 weeks which is a minutes walk away from this amazing pizzeria. After finding the food at the hotel rather bland and repetitive we ventured around the corner after spotting this place recommended on TripAdvisor. We were definitely not disappointed. Itâs a no frills kind of place with cardboard cutouts of the Pope and the Queen and lots of beer themed bits and bobs around as decoration but my God they make the best pizza that my husband and I have ever eaten. The barbecue pizza in particular was amazing and the fried chicken wings starter was also great. The food and the beer were ridiculously cheap, less than â¬20 for 2 huge pizzas and a couple of large beers. You never felt rushed and the staff were pleasant and happily boxed up and leftovers for you to takeaway as the pizzas were so big.I couldnât recommend this pizzeria highly enough and wish that I could find pizza as good as this in the UK.

A family-run Italian Trattoria, where owners still make food like the old traditional Mediterranean kitchen, but surprising their guests also with modern versions. You can choose a large variety of dishes, we can guarantee the freshness of our products, y
You know you are in for a special experience when the chef/owner sits down with you before your meal to outline and discuss your menu choices. Tony chatted with us for a good 10 minutes about his former restaurant experiences in the Channel Islands, his experience with his current restaurant La Perla, and his obvious delight in people having a great meal at his restaurant. We shared three pasta dishes-ricotta ravioli with mussels and lemon to start, a buffalo mozzarella and tomato layered pasta, and a ragu pasta. All were artfully presented and delicious, with our favourite being the mozzarella with its rich sauce. Also deserving of mention is the tasty bread that accompanied the meal, with refills provided without asking. Although not produced on site, Tony happily provided directions to the local bakery so we could pick some up for our lunch next day.We sampled both the red and white "vino di Casa"-I'd choose only the red next time. It's a bit more upscale in price than you might expect from a neighbourhood type restaurant in a small town (albeit in a touristy region)-our shared pasta dishes ranging in the 13-15 euro range- but for the quality the bill at just over 60 Euros was a bargain.Highly recommended.

We visited as this restaurant was just across the road from our hotel and we felt too tired to walk into Sorrento. We were optimistic having read good reviews and we werenât disappointed. Excellent service (from I assume the much praised Gabriella) extending to her launching herself into the road to stop the traffic! We all had pasta dishes and debated whose was the best. My son declared his bolognese as the best heâd ever had which earned him a kiss from the waitress! This is a quiet little restaurant a bit out of town but as such you donât pay the sort of premium you do in Sorrento proper. Well worth a visit. Really lovely food and excellent service. Gentile cliente, siamo onorati che la sua cena sia risultata, all altezza delle sue aspettative, e che tutto era del suo gradimento C'è l'abbiamo messa tutta e siamo stati premiati... Grazie Gabriella
