Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Sanremo. With a comfortable climate that varies little throughout the year, Sanremo has been a favored tourist destination since the mid-1700s, attracting visitors from all over Europe, including heavy contingents of Russian and British aristocracy. For many, the long stretch of beach is the main attraction, but don’t miss the impressive casino or the hillside medieval section of town called La Pigna. Every year since 1951, the city has hosted Italy’s popular Sanremo Music Festival.

We ended up in this restaurant while cycling the beautiful old railway path along the coast. This restaurant serves only raw, marinated and smoked fish, yet it was one of the most interesting experience I had. The young owners are clearly in love with food, they propose a selection of wonderful raw, marinated and smoked fishes accompanied with creative salads in the pure tradition of Italian cuisine, simple fresh ingredients treated with much care. Sit on the terrasse, relax and enjoy, it is not a fast food kind of lunch it is a moment that you take to treat yourself with delicacy. It is fresh, it is well prepared, it is colorful and it is served by the kindest people (like most Italians), what else do you want.

After experimenting for a week in Sanremo, finally we found the best authentic Italian pizza place! Very small local but a lot to offer! The staff are also nice, they even gave me a shot of their homemade limoncello! Greets and keep up the good work guys!!! Hoscar,Francesco and the other guy... forgot his name.

Had the pleasure of dining here for lunch with family & friends, and not much talking happened because our mouths were full of delicious food & drink! Wine and limoncello are a must to get here.I opted for fresh fish and appreciated the elegant presentation, as it was de-boned for me upon service.Italian fare was also enjoyed by my fellow diners, two of which were kids, who also thoroughly liked this tasty afternoon dining experience. Thank you Melissa! for us it's the best satisfaction to read your review.... we are very happy to have offered to you and your family and friends a pleasant moment and superior experiencesee you soon I hope!!!best regards

This restaurant reflects the owner's passion for sharing Ligurian cuisine. Their restaurant captures local traditions and culture. Their recipes are the result of research into the public archives to unearth honest simple and delicious recipes to prepare dishes that have lasted the test of time. It's a three person operation: Margarita is in the kitchen, Noel and HIS HUGE SMILE, are out front, and Stefano keeps the tables happy. We counted room for 20 guests. Part of their passion stems from the fact that both Noewl and Margarita were active professionals who chucked in corporate life to live their dream. Noel was a graphic designer; Margritta was an accountant, a bean counter! All produce is fresh and local. The extra virgin olive oil they serve comes from their trees. We live in the south of France and we have our own trees. Their oil is better than ours. From quick fried boned sardines to a lovely pappardelle dish with baby courgettes and a hint of rabbit sausage...my wife said the pasta was "lighter than an angel's kiss" we could not have been more satisfied. We drank two wines from the Genoa area: a lovely little blanchetta and a red sauvignon. Both were superb. Noel's philosophy of how to run a restaurant is moving: the first impression must be that the guest feels welcome. Everything from the excellent cuisine to the service makes the guest feel welcome. After dinner Noel walked us outside and I gave him a bear hug. He deserved it. We will be back. The prices are ridiculously reasonable. Whitebeard83.

Really good burgers but it was the staff that made our meal exceptional. After a few unpleasant meals in Sanremo (âkids canât share meals!â âYou can sit but the kitchen opens in an hour...â âthe hotel restaurant is closed until Julyâ) we were thrilled to find Soul Burger. Delicious. Friendly. Easy.

very nice service and tasty food, but too few mussels with the pasta. Excellent desserts: tiramisu and chocolat fondant with strawbeerries. Enjoyed the music.

NIce place in the old town of Bordighera. We had lunch on the terrace with a view out over the old town to the sea. Relaxing and sunny. Nice choices on the menu that was translated by the wait staff - very helpful. I had the Coniglio alla Ligure and my wife had ravioli. The rabbit was excellent and surprisingly presented like a large pot pie. My wife's ravioli she thought was over done and reheated. Dessert was excellent as was the house wine. Very reasonably priced at Euros 55. Service was good although the orders were switched but we easily switched plates!!Overall worth the visit.
