Discover Restaurants offering the best Italian food in San Sebastian - Donostia, Province of Guipuzcoa, Spain. While many visitors come for the beaches, arts celebrations and fiestas, San Sebastian-Donostia is serious about its food and drink. The Old Quarter’s narrow, winding streets are full of bars and restaurants, and in the modern city, sidewalk cafes are all around. The city specializes in seafood. Just make sure you know not to expect dinner at 6 or 7 p.m.—that’s much too early in Spain. Instead, tide yourself over with tapas, and enjoy eating and drinking late into the night.

Amelia is located in the romantic area of ââSan Sebastian, its location is particular; "hidden" in a little busy street, a few meters from El Buen Pastor Cathedral. We are a modern restaurant, with capacity for 28 diners, where we only serve tasting menu;
Food is good but the menu wasnât balanced. Too much emphasis on puddings. Staff were welcoming and we were shown to the kitchen. We opted not to have the wine package and asked for help to choose our wines. We didnât find the sommelier helpful at all as we requested Spanish wines given that we were in Spain. He advised us that âthis isnât a Spanish restaurant â . As other reviews stated, the wines are mostly Italian. The experience wasnât as good as it should have been which was disappointing given the cost.

We love the pintxo experience in San Sebastian but when we wanted something different for lunch, Raviolina fit the bill.We enjoyed some tapas as appetisers and found the pizza and lasagna to be tasty. The staff were friendly and attentive and the ambience was enjoyable.

What a brilliant find across and up from Tabakalera.Guisseppe and team are fabulous people and I have to say that the tomato and Burrata salad I had was one of the best dishes i have ever tasted and was probably the best dish I had in the whole of Spain and i was there for 14 days.We originally went as looking for some refreshment whilst staying at Tabakalera House and I wanted a cup of tea. The owner - spotted i was English, served a lovely cuppa with milk. We then went back three times for drinks and a lunch. This is a little gem of a place and it ooozes personality, high standards, intelligent cooking and service all served up with massive scoop of happiness. Perfect.
