The cornerstones of our restaurant are research and authenticity. Our goal is to share and enjoy our findings with you. Here you can try a cuisine which combines local tradition and creative experimentation, making the most of both regional ingredients an
on our last day we opted to walk over for Lunch, intrigued by the high tripadvisor rating....it was Wed., while most are closed.... we opted to sit in the lovely alley on the side of the restaurant, which is enchanting all cobblestone and old stone iron topped entries...lovely tables all set in a row...ambiance beautiful....plus we escaped the really warm temperatures...lovely wine list, a bit expensive...smaller bottle of Valpollica .375 was 12.00 but was well worth it, delicious selection. The servers are super nice and kind, with a surprise appetiizer on a black slate being brought out, this was excellent, as well as the bread basket... We ordered one plate each from the menu for lunch...expensive....the cooking is more of a creative presentation, as the main focus....so eggplant parmesan was different in taste, and may have had a meat in it. (12. euro) The main fish dish - Salmerino e Trota (18. euro - high) looked colorful and creative, but really lacked the fresh fish flavors enjoyed in the other ristorante's we tried, flavor did not have it, and the sauce on the side did not add at all. So to me it was a creative looking dish only. The small turnip garnish on the side of the fish was the best part. There was a long white hair sticking on the side of the fish which could have just blown in the air...I noticed it and pulled it off.Towards the end of the lunch our legs and ankles were bitten by maybe fleas or mosquitoes in the alley...not the restaurants fault, this happens in dark, moist areas, or where plants hold water. Husband was bitten much more than I was. So "beware" if you have sandals on.... I found the food presentation inspiring...they work hard, and have excellent service.

Very friendly service at this modern styled restaurant, just one street back from the seafront, at the cathedral end of the old town. Staff were fun and friendly, food was well presented and tasty. Was accompanied by various little "treat" dishes between courses.

This popular restaurant was not far from the Fornella campsite we were staying on. We hadnât booked and it was busy but we were quickly seated and our drinks order taken. Carafes of wine were good and very reasonably priced. We both chose pizza from a very comprehensive menu and they were excellent. Service was good and what we had was good value. If you are in the area donât miss this pleasant restaurant by the lake.

Okey all reviews where good and our expectations where high but everything was blown away to a higher level in hospitality and atmosphere!First we walked through the beautiful city of Salo. When we entered a romantic and quiet alley that was situated behind the busy and big restaurants the feeling of true italian atmosphere was created! We where kindly welcomed and seated outside on a romantic bistrò! The choice was simple, we wanted the big plate with all the lovely italian food! Wine was carefully selected due a long wine sample! All was lovely and we had a great evening for a good price! Thank you!â¤ï¸

Italian friends brought me to this restuarant where you have to reserve 2 months in advance to get a table. When I got there I understood why. There is only one seating and only room for about 30 people in the restaurant which is located on a family farm off a dirt road (no signs so get good directions). The food is al organic and locally made from their salami to fried winter vegetables. They brought us 15 different appetizers. The service is a little slow with just one woman serving the appetizers plate by plate but very very friendly, sincere and cares deeply about people enjoying their experience- in fact the service as well as the small location give you a strong sense of eating at someone's home and not a restaurant. We were so full after the 15 appetizers that we skipped the pasta and meat course and ordered dessert (a platter of 10 desserts). Next time I will hold out for their home made pasta which sounded delicious. Of the appetizers I really loved their home made salami, orange cabbage and nut salad and polenta with mushrooms. However, the menu changes with the seasons so you need to be ready to try what they have prepared. We ordered a bottle of their homemade red wine but didn't drink it- too acidic. The cost of the meal was EUR28 a person. I can't wait to come back but need to not eat for 2 days beforehand.

I have eaten at this restaurant twice in 2 years and both times it was simply outstanding. Food, service, atmosphere was simply wonderful. We were able to take in the lovely view of Lake Garda before dinner, and had a toast to a lovely Italian vacation.Onto the food! Our waiter brought us antipasti plates of meats, cheeses and vegetables. All of it was delicious. Then we sampled 4 or so pasta dishes. The polenta was especially noteworthy. We were a large party of 9 persons, so there seemed to be so much food! Then grilled meats. Again, everything was so delicious! Finally dessert and coffee. It was certainly one of the BEST meals I had on this vacation. Our service was excellent, we did not feel rushed, they were very attentive and checked back to see if there was anything we needed, and how we liked the food. The recommendations made by our waiter were wonderful. The ambiance is relaxed and comfortable. The price for our meal seemed a very good value for the quality and quantity of the food and service. Without a doubt, I recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Lake Garda

A nice and charming boutique-restaurant based on high quality product from little Italian producers. Amazing choice of all natural wines from all Europe.
Well, after a very long debate with my lady, finally we had decided to visit this restaurant to try the outmost celebrated hamburger on the lake and some say of all Italy . Presentation:excellent .Size:small to medium Ingredients: good to fine Price: for the size of the burger extremely high . I eat it all and it was quite good but nothing exceptional . Good meat l but it had looked like a tartare as it was cooked on the outside but row inside so also pretty cold .In my trips in the U.S. I had better burger for a quarter of the price . Ironically the U.S. should be much more expensive . Overpriced for sure but worth for a try . The rest of the menu sounded good but not for all. Prices are high

Piccola chicca nel centro storico, Cucina di sobborgo con rivisitazione. Scelta di prodotti ottimi e ricercati in tutto il territorio Nazionale
This fine restaurant is situated away from lake Garda, therefor a bit less crowded. We were with four friends and tried to figure out the menu when this waitress came to our table and started talking Dutch. She speaks four or more languages so this was very helpful. We had a wonderful and good meal, with drinks and desert for less than â¬25,- each. We even got a discount mentioning the hotel we stayed. Do not hesitate to go there, you won't be disappointed.Grazie mille...Dank je wel Hopelijk tot een volgende keer!!
