This restaurant is in the cellar of the former convent. It is vast space unencumbered by pillars. It is one of the most attractive dining areas I have ever seen. The food too is of very high quality, beautifully prepared and very tasty. The service was excellent with someone always available when you wanted them. This restaurant is a must even if you have to climb up from the main town (and going home is easy!)

I cannot rate this passionate beer brewer enough. The passion that comes through in drinking one of the beers is clear to all - great flavours, amazing taste and truly enjoyable.I have travelled and tried many beers from around the world, from mainstream to micro-breweries, but this stands head and shoulders above most. I enjoyed the beer so much that we asked the brewer Ivano to show us his operation and that is where I learnt how much work goes into the amazing product he delivers. His little restaurant is very well decorated, cosy and inviting - a place that should not be missed if visiting Saluzzo. I hope that Birrificio della Granda expands their business to service the many genuine beer lovers of the world - this beer should be stocked in any bar that is serious about serving quality product to their customer.

This is a nice restaurant that locals frequent. We have eaten at the restaurant twice and really enjoyed both meals. The owner Christina is very nice and helpful with menu selections. She recommended selections that were local Piemonte in flavor. We will return again...it's a must. Only seats about 40...

We had one night in saluzo and decided to have dinner here. Initially we were a bit sceptical as the line in front of us was not for the feint of heart. We, though, stayed the course and pretty glad we did.Super food super service! Could not be better.

We had a four course meal and enjoyed every course.Goats cheese tart for starter was hot and very good, chestnut risotto really tasty, veal was tender and delicious, chocolate cake was scrumptious!Restaurant itself was spotlessly clean,(as is the hotel too) warm and bright, staff very attentive. We had a lovely meal thank you!

Cucina tipica del territorio con prodotti a Km 0 selezionati. Taverna a conduzione famigliare a pochi passi dal centro storico.
This restaurant doesnât look like much from the outside, but once inside it is a very nice classically styled, rather small, room. Our service was very good. Staff was attentive but not hovering. We were there for lunch but still wanted a leisurely pace and that is what we got. They serve high quality regional cuisine at very reasonable prices. We started with the cheese ravioli with walnuts and the creamiest gnocchi with a cheese sauce that I have ever had. We shared the ubiquitous Beef in Red Wine and it was excellent.Nice wine list with local favorites at reasonable prices.I wish we had been staying in the area so we could have had dinner.

Drove past this restaurant looking for somewhere to eat as we passed through Saluzzo, quickly read its review on Trip and stopped there for lunch. Beautiful restaurant, modern, clean, tidy, tasteful. Sat in the large, grey open space under the cool ceiling fans admiring the tasteful decor. Friendly efficient staff welcomed and served us (my husband, baby and I).We ordered a fish starter which was delicious (see photo) shared a pesto trofie dish (wonderful) and had a secondo each. My roast beef was disappointing, a little over cooked and dry with a tasteless salad. My husband's fish dish was tasty. So three out of four dishes very good. We had a bottle of wine , skipped desserts, and finished with coffee. Fair value at â¬70 considering the wine was 24â¬.Bathrooms lovely and a baby changing table too. Would definitely return if I was in the area!
