Tonight we had a dinner to celebrate my birthday at this restaurant. From the outset the evening was difficult. I don't consider that the restaurant was particularly busy. However the staff were flustered and very forgetful of core serving skills or customer service. Our group ordered entrees and mains. These came together. Yes, together! The timing from the kitchen was very poor. Ok we accepted this. The next issue concerned the quality of the meals. One guest sent their meal back as it was tasteless. The staff were obliging, but not overly so. The replacement dish was apparently an improvement. I ordered the veal saltimbocca and what i received was not what I expected. This is one of my favorite dishes and what was presented bore no resemblance to the authentic dish. The canned baby corn spears were interesting, but. .. well canned! Yes baby corn spears. I even found some penne pasta under the mashed potato that made up the base of the dish! That was a suprise. Our fellow diners likewise were not impressed with their meals. What can I say? The service was lack luster and the food left a great deal to be desired. In the end we still had a good time due to our company not the dining experience. We didn't bother with desert or coffee. Would I dine here again? I severely doubt it. I certainly can't recommend this restaurant. However, if you do dine here i sincerely hope you have a better experience. I also hope the management takes note of this and any other reviews that raise concerns with the service and quality of food provided.

Traditional pizza, pasta and Italian mains presented in an enduring chain with an easygoing vibe. Walk-ins welcome, along with small or large bookings. Open all public holidays excluding Christmas day.
We went as a family group of 16 to Fasta Pasta for my dad's birthday. We had such a great night, the meals came out pretty quickly and all were fresh and delicious! The staff were fantastic, they made us all feel very welcome and catered to all our needs. If you are looking for a quick pizza or a delicious meal you can't go wrong, I recommend this place highly! Buon appetite

Enjoy eating here when pressed for time and in need of something other than the standard 'fast food' to fill the belly. The rissotto is pretty good too!

This is a typical largish suburban cafe in a large shopping centre, offering a good range of food of good quality. That the cafe was very busy is a good indication of its general reputation. There are indoor and outdoor eating areas. The staff are friendly and obliging but we had three problems: 1. A drink order was forgotten (to profuse apology when reminded);2. Kangaroo Fillet was supposed to be on rosemary mash potato but came with small wedges - without explanation - a disappointment as a bowl of wedges had already been shared ;3. Soup, entree and mains for the whole table of 6 all arrived together, so inevitably some of the meal was eaten cold.

My stepdaughter and her partner took us to this lovely place along the lake for lunch upon arrival from Melbourne. It is their favourite place which is just 5 minutes walk from their place. We were seated outside under an umbrella, watching the ducks, pelicans and other birds while enjoying our lunch. It was a lovely day when we arrived. The food was great and I really enjoyed it. Then on ANZAC DAY, we came back again for breakfast after the dawn service and oh, I loved my egg Benedict. The service was great. Overall, a lovely place to enjoy having a meal.

Went here with work colleagues for an informal dinner. The ambiance is lovely, you can drink at the bar before dinner while waiting for friends, the restaurant is very quaint, the staff are exceptionally friendly and the food is....well as per the title. Everything is made on site, they are very proud to announce that upon your arrival (rightly so), and is therefore very fresh. The meals are a perfect size, just enough to leave room for my take home doggie bag, as I was so full. I canât believe that I have frequented Mawson Lakes hotel on numerous occasions for dinner and yet never had the pleasure of dropping in here. I should have opened my eyes sooner and done my research. Thank goodness for word of mouth. Do yourself a favour, remove the blinkers and try it. Paid cash, splitting the bill was very easy, even with about 10 of us.Thank you for you Rating & Review. We value your time & feedback. So glad you discovered La Vita and enjoyed your dine in experience. We hope you visit again real soon.CheersFrom The La Vita Team
