The facility is also a bed and breakfast which I stayed for 4 nights, it is ok but not worth the 65 euro per night. If you don't have a car forget it as very difficult to move around The breakfast needs to be improved.

Excellent home cooking in pleasant surroundings. All pasta, made on the premises, is delicious. Good selection of wines as well as local pignoletto by the carafe. Very friendly staff and the boss speaks very good English! Worth a detour!

Found this place thanks to this site, suited on our way home⦠located in the center of this small town (birthplace of a famous basketball player), we struggled a bit to find it⦠luckily we reserved (recommended) as restaurant is quite small (indoor); they have some outdoor tables obviously weather permitted⦠Small, cute with kitchenâs view and colourful crockery, a place where can lunch, dine or buy a book to read and a bottle or glass of wine to pair reading moments⦠six proposals for each category, some unusual and daring combinations, we had: salumi and pickles (12.00) traditional start; ricotta soufflé with chicory and garlic croutons (10.00) good yummy; nettle pasta (tagliatelle) with bolognese sauce (12.00) tasty; onions stuffed ravioli grated with eweâs cheese and garnished with truffles (17.00) hmm donât know⦠truffles taste were blurred by the cheese; pecorino is already special by itself, particularly this one (aged in a pit)⦠desserts 7.00 each, tasting of three types of aged Parmesan 8.00. Took some time to have the dishes on our table but when cooked at the moment with selected ingredients, is worth the wait.Service was exceptional by a male waiter, friendly, polite, professional, knowledgeable. Apart of the truffles dish, everything was fantastically perfect, I would happily go back when in the area again.

One of the friendliest places to eat in town, with great Italian food. All pasta is home made with great wine at a good price.Our hosts couldn't have been more helpful in explaining the menu. If you're in the area give these guy's a go!

Siamo ritornati in questo bellissimo ristorante che ha il potere di stregarci ogni volta! Abbiamo mangiato benissimo e ve lo consigliamo sicuri di non essere smentiti! Con ordine = degli antipasti degustazione dal baccala" con salsina strepitosa, del carpaccio di tonno + pera cotta nel vino, dell"insalata di mare al vapore strepitosa, poi tanti altri deliziosi che non ricordiamo. i nostri vini preferiti dalla Ribolla al Balange" poi dei gratinati deliziosi e un fritto croccante che ce lo siamo divorato con piacere! Per non parlare dei dolci e soprattutto i bigne" da affogare nel cioccolato fuso da perdere la testa!!! Molto soddisfatti torneremo presto!

Almost a year has past, but our little family's memory of dining at Ensama lives on strong! Chef Sabino and his talented team served us one of the finest meals we've ever had - ever - anywhere! Every course was unique and artfully presented, emphasizing the flavor of the fish or seafood and not other accoutrements. We never placed an order, but rather sat back and enjoyed every one of about 8 courses. Chef Sabino is not only talented and gracious, but his background and credentials are extremely impressive. The location of the restaurant seems off the beaten path, but likely within 15 minutes of most anywhere you are in the Bologna area. In una occasione dell' anniversario dei 50 anni di conseguimento diploma scuola superiore ...con tutti o quasi compagni di classe abbiamo fatto baldoria in questo posto accogliente nella immediata periferia di Bologna . Luogo frequentato da pescatori più o meno in erba amanti della pesca ...quasi sportiva !!! Comunque l'annesso ristorante propone specialità di pasta alla bolognese con ragù oppure tortelli ....grigliata mista ma anche e sopratutto ranocchi ben cucinati.....oltre a crescentine salumi e formaggi vari. Co bel tempo si può stare anche all'aperto ....e godere anche della visione sui laghetti e ..se arriva anche il fresco ...pure quello !!! Ampio parcheggio ed anche zona adibita a parco per bambini . Prezzi nella media senza troppe sorprese .......Tutto lo staff è sorridente e se per caso ti trovassi da quelle parti e chiedi di Gabriele ( il gestore) non mancherà di offrirti un buon bicchiere di vino ....alla salute !
