3 couples descended on this place Wednesday night as a result of trip advisor reviews and were not disappointed.Anthonio greeted us and ushered us to table immediately...we had reserved on line, recommend as people were turned away as a result of cozy size.We truly enjoyed our meals... started with burrata, antipasto and bruschetta. Everything was scrumptious. 3 people had the bronte (gnocchi in a cream sauce with pistachio), others had siciliano (with eggplant), linguini with pesto and pine nuts and the Norma with eggplant. Everyone enjoyed their pasta and what was enjoyable was Anthonio allowed us ample time btwn courses to graze...enabling us to savor our meals more completely. Will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone visiting Paris!

If you search for a great Italian restaurant than this place is a must. The food is divine, delicious, unforgettable, just perfect. Together with a perfect service you will spend an unforgettable moment. I have been there now several times and you can try everything the pasta, meat or fish combined with a good wine makes you feel at the amalfi coast. Thank you Vittorio (owner) and Veronica for the perfect dinner at âil Padrinoâ I will definitely come back. Marco

I am so thankful for TripAdvisor and an opportunity to post and read travel reviews. My husband and I did extensive research before going to Paris trying to make sure we picked the best restaurants that were also affordable. Our expectations were met and exceeded by Bar Italia! We all tried a different entree and tasted everything. All six of us agreed that each dish was exceptional and we would have been happy eating any of them. Dessert was just the same and the owner even gave us his Tiramisu as a gift. The service was exceptional! I know all 3 couples in our group would come back to this restaurant in a heartbeat! We all stand by it being our favorite restaurant of the trip!

The restaurant seating is pretty limited but the seats are comfortable and spaced appropriately, the place is spotless (seating area, cooking area and bathrooms), the staff is super friendly and explains meals in English without any hint of attitude (sometimes encountered in other Parisian eateries), and the food is "home made" and delicious. A great place for a couple to enjoy an Italian meal.Thank you very much for your comment !!!!!EricOwner

Finding vegetarian options in Montmartre was proving difficult but then we noticed this small restaurant which was very busy and bustling...a sure sign the food is good. And it was good. Bruschetta to start with, then ravioli. Both delicious. House red wine was perfectly acceptable. The tables are VERY close together and itâs noisy with conversation so not the place for a quiet tete a tete. It does encourage you to talk to the neighbours though !

We were exhausted after a day of travelling from Bordeaux and a climb up to Sacre Coeur but the delicious pasta dinner we had here and the friendly service gave us the strength to go on. The linguini carbonara was the best Iâve ever had.

And absolutely dreaded the first bite. Looks can be deceiving. The pizza had a melt-in-your-mouth goodness I finally understood what everyone was raving about! Who makes pizza where the cheese is placed in blops like and ingredient and not covering the crust? THEY DO and it WORKS! The sauce is so good that the cheese serves to add to its flavor and every bite was delicious.

What a great Pizza. Everyone claims Paris has some of the best food in the world. Thatâs a bunch of garbage. This place is a shinning star in a city that has a bunch of pretentious and gross restaurants. I enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service at Jimmy 2s. Such a good dining experience.

Gabin Casual Food
If you like burgers that are special go to Gabin. The burgers are mouthwatering (probably the best I have had in France) and like everything in French cuisine they are extraordinary
