Visited this restaurant having been there many years ago. Decor still very nice with nice views over the beach. Staff attitude varied from very pleasant to somewhat arrogant! No common sense used in pricing of meal which had set menus at â¬29 and â¬39 for 3 courses . We were charged the higher "a la carte " price despite having 3 courses each and a bottle of wine. This has not been our usual experience in french restaurants which tend to charge the higher of set menus when clients mix their choices from menu. Felt disappointed as had enjoyed this restaurant a lot the last time we were here and the food is good! Restaurant was very quiet besides others in the area so perhaps this is the reason?

Don't be put off by external view. This is a family run restaurant with great pizzas and good service. We stayed in nearby hotel and went for ease of anywhere else. So glad we did. Kids loved it. Made to feel really welcome and actually went a few times as it was so easy and you knew you'd get good food. Une expérience sympathique tant avec le pizzaiolo qu'avec la découverte des pizzas. Pas cher et peu d'attente. Des prix allant de 9 euros à 12.5 euros. Nous avons acheté 3 pizzas en passant devant par hasard. Petite préférence pour la pizza New York. A découvrir lorsque vous avez une petite faim et envie de manger sur le pouce à la dernière minute.

We went to Royan on holiday and were treated to lovely take away pizza, our 6 year old enjoyed watching the cook putting the pizza ingredients together, tossing the dough with a flourish, on another evening had mussels and chips in the restaurant, both times food was excellent and good service. Merci beaucoup.

This Italian restaurant serves pizzas, pasta but also other Italian dishes. Tried a pizza which I thought was good but not exceptional, I think there is more value in some of the other dishes and the pasta. There is a nice outdoor seating area at the back of the restaurant which is non smoking (unusual in France).So all in all, a good place to go.
