Mme et moi sommes allés un Samedi soit, jour de la fête médiévale de Montrond le fort, sans réservation, pensant aller à un resto de nos connaissances mais qui était complet. La piazza était presque complet mais une place en terrasse nous a été proposée par une employée sympathique. Nous avons commandé, après l'apéro, 2 plats de lasagne au saumon, avec chacun un verre de vin. Les lasagnes ont été servies assez rapidement. Le petit souci était que celle-ci n'avaient peu de gout, ça se mangeait mais on a eu connu meilleur. On a donc fini notre repas sur ce plat. Pour régler notre du, nous devions nous rendre au comptoir avec la petite note mais la dite note avait du rester coller sous la carafe d'eau emmener par la serveuse pour débarrasser la table. Donc on se présente à une personne semblant être le boss afin de régler notre dû, celui-ci veut absolument la note, ce avec un ton glacial: comment faire devant une personne aussi aimable? Un serveur a alors l'excellente idée de nos demander où nous étions assis et du fait a permis de retrouver nos consommations et de les régler. C'était peut être exceptionnel, l'établissement étant en pleine bourre mais les employés étaient malgré tout pro, plus semble t'il que le boss et une autre personne qui devait être une dirigeante. Pour notre part, nous ne retournerons pas à cet endroit, c'est notre avis, on peut se tromper...

Service impeccable, aucune attente cette fois (mais il n'y avait pas non plus un monde fou), excellentes pizzas et les autres plats à l'avenant, même si le risotto, végétarien qui plus est, était, comme souvent, un peu cher. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Staff is friendly, helpful and speaks English very well. The beer selection is limited but has a good variety to chose from. The pizza is amazing. The crust is cooked perfectly with just a slight browning of the crust. Had the Canattai pizza which has artichoke, chorizo, ham, fresh mozzarella and a red sauce. The flavors combine so well and the freshness of the ingredients is wonderful.Great little place to try if you are in the area. Little out of the way but worth the trip.

This is the best pizza that I have tasted south of Sweden ! The restaurant is functional, cafe style. It is not the place that you would go for a romantic dinner, having said that - if you introduced your partner to the food here, then you will have won them over ! The food is prepared in full site; the ingredients are fresh and there is about 50 pizzas to choose from on a clear, colour coded menu. I have enjoyed their meat pizzas - Carnivore & Kebab. There is always a special pizza suggested, and both tomato and cream based pizzas are offered. I thought the base was very tasty, and wish I'd have a dip for the crusts (which I usually leave !) . Booking is advised - but if you opt for a takeaway, there are some nice park areas nearby in which to eat your feast. The proprietor and his staff are very friendly. He has won many awards, and is currently the Champion of Europe (understandably). There is limited parking immediately outside the restaurant on quite a steep slope. I try and visit the restaurant whenever I visit the Lyon/St Etienne area - it is worth the trip ! Note that they are closed on Sundays and Mondays, even when England are 'playing' football !(Search for L'artiste Pizzaiolo on FB for photos of some of their scrumptious pizzas !)

Rapidité , dextérité et gentillesse sont au rendez vous ! Un pur plaisir pour les papilles, à des prix défiants toute concurrence ! Une équipe souriante , accueillante et performante. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !!!

Plusieurs passage chez pizzas du terroir, un accueil joviale que ce soir Mr ou Mme, une jolie déco et alors les pizzas sont à tombées !Belles, garnies et excellentes ! Faites avec des produits locaux, affichage des producteurs, possibilité d'achat de certains produits. D'ailleurs au passage le cola artisanal est très bon ! Nous avons aussi goûté les râpées qui sont toutes aussi délicieuses. La meilleure pizzeria pour nous sur Veauche !

St. Galmier is a great place to walk around and to have a good meal. The restaurant is located in an older building in the same square as the city hall. Small, quite and very inviting. Our hostess was very friendly and spoke some English which was a large help when ordering. Good selection of wine and beer, along with spirits, to choose from. Order the Calzone, which is the size of a dinner plate, but was slightly disappointed in it. The top of the crush was burnt in several places leaving a bad taste even when the burnt was cut off. The inside was full of juice which made the crust very soggy and muddled the flavors within. Overall I am glad we tried it but would not recommend as a spot to try.
