Evening meal the day before the ascent of Ventoux. Thereâs lots of eateries in Malaucène but we plumped for a simple pizza. This was no. 2 restaurant in Malaucène probably based on people just wanting a basic feed. This is exactly what it was but at a very basic price. Three courses including a Leffe (for 2)was â¬29. Unbeatable for value I think. Starter was tomato and mozzarella, delicious pizza for main and ice cream for dessert. The main business looks like a very busy takeaway with the restaurant bolted on the front. It ticked a box for what we required and at under â¬30 for two including drinks! Service wasnât speedy but we werenât in a major rush so wasnât an issue.
Stayed in Vacqueryas recently and being end of season, this take away pizza place was our only dining option. Pizza was 10 euros and enough for two. No complaints on quality. They also do wine etc. to take away, however we had already grabbed a bottle from the supermarket round the corner.

Le chef vous fera découvrir sa cuisine familiale mélange d Italie et Provence service et accueil avec un des plus beau sourire du Vaucluse
We were told that, despite the name, it is not part of the La Part des Anges chain. They start to take customers from 7pm. We were a little early but they were happy for us to sit and have a drink. The food was excellent, particularly the topped melon containing a generous measure of Muscat de Beaumes de Venise. The main dishes we had were delicious and the service was very friendly and efficient. It's a very short walk out of town, across the road from an entry to a park and a car-park. The 2-course menu was 19.90 euros each - well worth it.
We ordered pizza twice whilst staying in Violes. They were really tasty pizzas. As there were 15 of us we did have a quite a selection of them ;) Very quick service too.

Definitely worth a visit for lunch. In a busy pedestrianised street, surrounded by little shops. Good food - try the salade Normande or the vegetarian salad both with brilliant baked camembert and/or goat's cheese. Pleasant service, outside tables on the street. Altogether a recommended lunchtime meal.

The fishsoup is very nice, the lamb and fries are also good. The location has a poor acoestic and ventilation. The moment an other table starts stone-grilling the place fills with cooking smells. Service is poor: table's are not cleared during the meal and you will not get the chance to order the last course of your menu, as staff simply stays away...

Downstairs at the 2000 year old Pont Romaine in Vaison a cave is entered carved into the rock on the edge of the Ouvex. The cuisine was imaginative and delicious, the prices modest and the atmosphere lively and very friendly. Yet another fine Vaison restaurant.

If you like authentic wafer thin delicious Italian pizza you'll love Claude's pizza, if you want that thick stodgy stuff heaped with cheese, sausage and the kitchen sink forget it! The warm summer evenings are the best time to eat here on the shady terrace, if, unusually the weather is bad or (more likely) the Mistral is blowing there is a little room upstairs but only a few tables.N.B. the pizzeria is ONLY open Thursday, Friday & Saturday EVENINGS, not lunchtime, and the pizzeria ONLY OPENS IN THE SUMMER, usually May - September.Bon apétit!

Gael Pizza (GP) catered our post wedding event. We absolutely love pizza and wanted something easy and street foody for our guests to enjoy. Choosing GP ticked all the boxes.Communication about prices and pizza choices was simple and stress free (which meant a lot to me, as planning the wedding was stressful in itself) and the food was absolutely delicious and outstanding value for what we received. I have been craving the pizza ever since! We had a mix of vegetarian and meat pizzas, a nutella cheesecake/ fruit salad dessert. The food was impeccable, our guests absolutely raved about it. The team came fully equipped, we didn't need to worry about them - they simply got on with it! The GP staff are super stars, assisting guests with the language barrier and some travel issues. We cannot thank the whole team at GP enough for being part of our wedding celebration and strongly recommend visiting and/or hiring them, if you're after some authentic Italian cuisine. Wishing everyone at Gael Pizza all the best for the future!
