Our 3rd visit in as many years; this time one could make small criticisms but to do so would be mean -spirited. Even suboptimal, the Tuscan Kitchen remains the outstanding restaurant in Rye. My pasta was perhaps a fraction over-cooked,,,but the sauce and shellfish were lovely. The puds were especially good this time and the service from an incredibly helpful waiter couldnt be bettered. In no other restaurant has extra bread been brought without having to request it,

The simply Italian family is set in a Lovely 17th century mill! We have 2 floors in the main restaurant and yes it looks Italian as well! We alo have a great garden if you enjoy alfresco eating! Serving pizza and pasta and lots of specials! Very children

We regularly use Sumply Italian in Rochester where we live and with it being a family run business we were hoping this one was going to be good. We need not have worried, it was lovely. good service, lovely.freshly prepared food and a good atmosphere. Plenty of room with tables upstairs and despite it being quite busy on the Saturday we visited we still managed a table by the window. Definitely recommend.Dearest lardyThank you! The way we run our small group is exactly the same in all our 4 trattorias WE ARE JUST SIMPLE FOOD SERVED WITH A SMILE what else do you really need! So happy you enjoyed it! Come in to this shop to get a drink and some hot donuts. Haha. Did not happy got the coffee what was freshly made hahaha it was loop warm. Not very nice asked for the donuts please got told the oil is not hot yet but is getting hot. No problem I will come back in 10 mins or so. Staff ok good. I Come back I get oh oh is not working. Wast of time and money on a cold coffee Not coming back the place was not clean very run down
