This restaurant is one of the very best you'll find in the Val di Non. We have been going here or years and we've never been disappointed. The menu is varied from simple local dishes to exquisite gourmet meals. Personally, I like the pizzoccheri for lunch. This is a unique pasta made of 80% buckwheat flour and 20% wheat flour, backed with cheese and greens. If you plan to dine here on Friday or Saturday nights, a reservation is probably needed (as well as holidays such as Easter). This is a favorite of locals and tourists alike.

Very nice restaurant in great surroundings. Inside pleasent and cool on a hot day. Unexpected flavour fusion with white fish from high lakes married with red pepper corn..honeyed ice cream with balsamic....well done Chef for imaginative food. Service excellent and informative

One of the best dinner we had in Italy and the most reasonably priced. Lovely setting, great service, not to miss if anyone around. The trout was fantastic!

All dishes we tried were average. Generous portions, flavours not unpleasant but lacking any sparkle. E.g. potato gnocchi with nettle were not bad but tasted mostly of flour, even a beef cheek lacked intensity. Same for a rolled rabbit. Same for a corn flour 'timballo' . Nothing bad, nothing really exciting.Service was very polite from 'the mother' and very distracted form 'the son'. We had an extremely long wait between first courses and mains. Food prices are kind, and wine prices are incredible - I believe my San Leonardo was cheaper than retail! This was the main joy of the evening.

My friend in Trento brought my family to here for a lunch, and it was one of the best meal I have had in my 10 day trip in Italy! The restaurant has a beautiful and excellently tended outdoor seating place and all the staff members are so professional and helpful for English speaking guests, like us. Their food is great in both taste and presentation! My daughter tried one of their gelato dessert, and that was also great! After the meal, we promised to come back again soon. They have a great selection of local wine too. It could be little hard to find a place, but please try it, it will pay you with great food and service!

We stumbled upon this place with our family of 6 adults, ordered several types of pizza and drinks. Everything tasted wonderful. It's right below a park and connects with bike/walking paths, so it could be combined with a pleasant walk/ride through this scenic area.

Another perfect dinner at this Locanda (see my previous reviews). Standouts this time were a 'creme caramel' with fresh local mushrooms and sweetbreads, a pig cheek braised in beer (incredibly deep flavour), and a pistachio ice-cream. But also delicious were torlelloni (well) filled with local herbs and confit cherry tomatoes, a Guinea fowl with recurrant and a cream of celeriac, and the evergreen chocolate and coffee dessert. It's hard to think of another place in the region that so well tells the story of tradition and locla ingredients, but that at the same time has embraced modernity. The room is charming as ever, service led by signor Danilo in the room is excellent, and both food and wine prices make this place incredible value for money.

âAlla Pinetaâ is a typical Trentino restaurant, that still offers regional dishes, cooked according to the tradition and using local products. If you want to know more about it, click here! Typical Trentino cuisine first and foremost with many other imagi
While I think that the food here is not of sufficient interest to merit a trip by outside visitors, the restaurant is great to cater for the large number of hotel guests who eat here repeatedly. The dishes featured OK ingredients cooked mostly with a light hand and some touch of originality, the best one perhaps an orzotto with pesto flavour, the worst an amouse bocuhe of 'fennel cream' which tasted mainly of what was probably thickener. The personnel is extremely kind, the prices are moderate. As a hotel restaurant operation, it is run with professionalism, integrity, and sympathy.Thank you for your review! We're glad to read that our restaurant satisfied your desires and that you caught the original touch of our traditionale cuisine!A special thank you from our staff, which is really happy to hear that you appreciated their job :)We hope to see you again here!Family Sicher
