The Service: Our Jodi... FABULOUS!! She treats us like her house guests~ Super attentive!! We don't need to tell her to refill the drinks or more bread... because she already one step ahead of us!The Food: Lunch special, great deal~ Love the unlimited soup or salad options! Several choices for kids menu... and they are pretty big portion too!!The Parking: Free plaza parking lot sharing with other office buildings and shops. Big parking lot, no problem finding parking spot.

This is a very good restaurant. The food is good, the service is good and the ambience is good. The only reason that I don't give it a 4 or 5 star rating is their outrageous wine prices. Over the last several years, many restaurants have pushed wine prices to ridiculous extremes -- charging 2 1/2 or 3 times what customers would spend for the same bottle in a grocery store. This is the first restaurant that I have been to that charges 4 times. In my opinion, they are just gouging their customers.

You know you are in for a treat when you sit down and they serve freshly made bruschetta and warm bread. Yum! One of the better ciopinno's ever, served in oversized bowl filled with fresh fish and seafood. Very tasty homemade pastas, chicken marsala and calamari. Service very good and wine selection extremely reasonable ($30 for a nice Italian red). Overall: Excellent place for families and if you want pizza, they have that too.

If you are looking for an Italian Restaurant in Redondo Beach, CA then come to Buca. Our Italian Restaurant serves Authentic Family Style Italian Food. When you're in the mood for amazing Italian food in Redondo Beach, CA you're in the mood for Buca. Just
An unusual and charming restaurant right off the Pacific Coast Highway. If you are a first timer your server will tell you it's a "family restaurant" with BIG portions. He was not kidding. But they have lots of boxes for you to take home the rest. The decor is very 30s-50s italian with long tables, leather banquets, and lots of boxing pictures along with the movie stars. I looked at others eating "specialties" like chicken canalloni, but decided to try simple, comparable fare -- spaghetti and meatballs. The whole bowl and each meatball was huge. The spaghetti was a perfect al dente and the meatballs marvelously seasoned. A winner. However, I am subtracting a star because the spaghetti was not colundared, leaving water in the bottom of the bowl. Naughty. But, it was very busy so there might have been a rush. All in all, if you like Italian food and are in Redondo Beach, and have a good appetite, you will like Buca di Beppo.

Neighborhood Italian where service, food, drinks are top notch. Down one escalator flight from the Regal Theaters. Nice bar area, open main dining area has a few booths. Large selection of pastas, pizzas and main courses. Menu on-line. Servers are always attentive. Wine list is decent. On occasion some prosecco might show up gratis to finish off the meal.

Here with an extended family of 20. We had a reservation and all went well. Food just kept coming out. They have a regular menu and the family style menu that we ordered from. We had trouble fitting all the food on our table. Restaurant was packed. We enjoyed our dinner. Calamari, Meatballs, Bruschetta, Salad, Tiramisu, etc. all very good. .

We always enjoy take out- and tonight was no exception. Large portions easily shared. Spaghetti & Meatballs 8.5/10 Pasta prepared perfectly for take out. Meatballs always taste great and have a nice texture. Eggplant parmigiana 8.5/10 Best in the area but suffers a bit from "cooked earlier" flavors. Broccoli side was fresh and not to oily. Have to mention the one piece of 2X2" bread - must be watching their carbs as qty/size didn't fit with the generous entree portions. Total cost $34 w/o tip Highly recommend supporting our local gem!

The Appetizer is fabulous. Their pizza and sandwiches are so tasty. Everything is made fresh daily, lots of choices and coldest beer! The staff is awesome, so friendly and this is a family owned business for many, many years. I would recommend The Appetizer to anyone and I'll definitely be a repeat customer!

We picked Gaetanoâs as a lunch spot on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. The food is authentic Italian cuisine at a reasonable price. We had the meatballs and tagliatelle with Chianti sauce- both dishes were well prepared and delicious. The service was outstanding- pleasant servers who made great menu suggestions. The restaurant is in the middle of a strip mall which can be off putting but donât let it deter you. It is a great lunch stop in Torrence.
