The tables outside seem nice and the waitress was friendly but they didn't have a drinks menu available. When the bill came we were very surprised to see that a Fanta can cost â¬3.50 and a half litre of house white wine was an unbelievable â¬9! This is twice what we paid in downtown Florence and it seemed that they deliberately don't have a drinks price to view so that they can massively overcharge you when they oddments the bill. As you've anyway had the drink you have no leg to stand on. We feel properly scammed and disappointed with the experience as a result of this. When you add to it the small pizza and the joke of a pollo milanese which was nothing more than a piece of fried breaded meat with no accompaniment we would suggest you probably to next door where all the locals seem to sit.

We had a pre-dinner drink in the square near a small, relaxing, dripping fountain.Well served with some pleasant olives and peanuts thrown in, as reasonable at this time if day, and reasonably priced.Cooking is reported good, with some special dishes, typical of this particular town.As many as four betting machines fill the anteroom, though, with one or two obviously enthralled customers. That's a significant drawback in Italy where this is a plague, difficult to control and often a link with organized crime.

We took our dinner couple of times in this restaurant. Nice atmosphere, very friendly personal. Maybe the food is not so fancy like in other higher rated restaurants near by, but itâs a perfect place for a family with kids!

There are unfortunately no great restaurants in Bagania. This trattoria was a little nicer than the others. We tried it twice. It is a familly trattoria with choice of seafood or land-based meals. And you can have also pizza. However seafood was frozen, tough and not too tasty. On the other hand the price was relatively high and didn't correspond with the quality. There are much better trattorias in Elba, but not in Bagnaia...

I have known the owners for years and I love what they have done here. The location is not obvious at all and we all worried it would prove a killer, but we were wrong. By concentrating on quality and precise execution the kitchen turns out really good food in stylish and comfortable surroundings. I absolutely love their mobile octopus food truck too!

Caught up here with my partners friends for lunch. The chef chose our menu which was Variante Di Tonnina all'Elbana and Rigatoni alla Palamita. Perfect choice for lunch. The location is superb and the staff were very friendly who also spoke a little English which helped me. Would highly recommend.

This is our favorite place on Elba! Starting the day with an espresso and a croissant . After lunch time for ice cream and cocktails! And last best: a sunset dinner. The atmosphere is friendly , relaxed, welcoming. The food is delicious, especially the fish of the day. Perfect! Perfetto!
