Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Ravenna. Ravenna once was the capital of the Byzantine Empire in Italy, and it still has amazing mosaics recalling that heritage. Also make sure you visit Dante's tomb, as well as the little pile of rubble where local residents hid his urn during WWII to prevent it from being damaged.

A jewel of the Liberty style: the building, rooms, windows, furnishings, statues, paintings and objects all have a D'Annunzio aura about them. The menu preserves the gastronomic tradition of Ravenna and it serves local specialities with seasonal ingredien
Had a very lux dinner here while staying in Ravenna. We were directed here when I asked for a "local" place. Really good. The restaurant is known for its use of truffles and we were not disappointed. I started with a bignet with parmesan cream and black truffles; very rich. Then I had truffled risotto; great! The restaurant is an old fashioned place with a garden inside in the back where guests are permitted to smoke--not good, but common. All in all, a terrific meal in a charming setting.

Today, from an idea of Stefano, Raffaele, Serena, Marco, Luciano, Matteo; at Our passion and from Our experiences the "Cabiria Wine Bar", while maintaining its tradition, has expanded in the proposal, giving life to his restaurant "Court Cabiria." Context
Dinner on the terrasse. Romantic atmosphere, some lounge musique would improve it further. Excellent service and advices from the sommelier. Their sea food menu, for 50â¬, is a good choice. You get to try numerous dishes, in small portions. Although well cooked and presented, i disagree with the reviews saying that the restaurant meets the bar for a 1-star Michelin rating. Still a very enjoyable experience.

The atmosphere is as sophisticated as an old 40's black and white movie, but at the same time, as inviting, creative and warm as a contemporary New York restaurant. The cuisine, with meat and fish specialities, is characterised by a tradition which has be
Housed in an old cinema, Alexander has a beautiful ambiance. The chef uses seasonal, locally sourced ingredients to create incredibly delicious food. The freshly baked bread (with butter infused with olive oil) and Parmesan crisps are fabulous! Great selection of wines too!

Enjoyed our introduction to piadina. Not really knowing what to expect, we watched Stefano prepare the flatbread after our order, add the fillings, and then finish the cooking. As Stefano finished up we had the revelation that we were basically having an Italian quesadilla. After we received our order, we ate along side the stand in the shade. Nice assortment of fillings and beverages. The stand is located close to the Tomb of Theodric.

I read the rave reviews and decided to reserve a table. Good thing b/c this place is really small. The owners warmly welcome all diners and then serve them as well. The menu consists of traditional dishes, nothing flashy, but everything done very well.

Il ristorante sará chiuso per ferie dal 10/08/2019 al 25/08/2019 compresi.
What a find! We researched this place on trip advisor whilst planning our Italian motorbike trip. However when we arrived at our hotel were ecstatic when we found out it was on the same street!! The food and service is exceptional. The owner Ale was so friendly and helped us choose what to eat. We could tell he was passionate about his food and it showed! We stopped late afternoon for a snack and ended up going back just before he closed for more! We tried the classic piadina (Italian flatbread) which is a traditional local cuisine and also 2 other variations which were a kind of wrap and a sandwich of sorts. We even had a desert which was a piadina filled with Nutella! Yummy :) the Parma ham was the best we have ever tasted and all the ingredients were lovely quality and so fresh. This place is a little Gem and a must when visiting this charming town.

"Produzione artigianale e vendita di Piadina Romagnola, crescioni e rotoli. Con somministrazione bevande."
You can find many places to eat piadina in Ravenna - actually I do not remember being somewhere where you canât And for the first 3 days of my stay I unfortunatelly did not manage to arrive before 15.00 oâclock to try their piadina. So I had the chance to compare and I agree with previous reviewers that it is the best piadina. Very fresh ingredients, a huuuge list of piadina types to choose from (found it frankly a bit overwhelming), and the ladies serving were very very nice and explained what I did not quite understand from the menu. Not to mention that the piadina is very big - I could hardly finish it- and it is very delicious! And at least 1,5 to 2 euro cheaper than in any of the other places where I had eaten piadinas! So actually far better quality for less money I also liked the fact that it is very organised - when you order you get a number and you can wait in the street until they call you to pick up the piadina.Thumbs up!thank you... thank you very much. Very kind

Thin crust, fresh ingredients and a rotating oven surface make this one of the best pizzas Iâve ever had. The owner is clearly a professional pizza maker who knows at the top of his game. A+

Having just spent 3 days in the city with 2 youngish children this was a lovely friendly restaurant / cafe. Costas our waiter was outstanding and we give all credit to him for us returning. The food was good (we definitely recommend the dumplings!), fast and tasty. The atmosphere was welcoming, relaxed and helpful (especially regarding portion size for the children). We had pizzas, pasta, hamburger and chips and yummy small donuts! The photos on trip adviser are really old and do not represent the current updated decoration.
