The Restaurant-Pizzeria "La Bifora" is located in the historical centre of Randazzo, a nice-medieval town on the slopes of volcano Etna (the highest European active volcan). The most part of the products used in cooking come from the biological farming of
We had lunch here after a couple of hours exploring Randazzo on market day. We thought it would be packed but only a few tables were occupied. The food and service were very good and we had a very relaxed meal. Would go again.

After a full morning of wine tasting and no breakfast we were famished. Winery sent us to this restaurant. Friends had just come from Rome. 10 different dishes , 3 deserts and 3 bottles of wine were passed among each other seeing which incredible dish was better. We ended up having to order 2 more tiramisu . 2 sommeliers in our group and we all were blown away for $200, 7 people.

In the beautiful Medieval city of Randazzo ( CT ) , just minutes from Taormina and Etna , is located since 1960 , the restaurant Veneziano . Today, in a new and elegant "location" in the green, with 130 seats . The Venetian Restaurant will let you redisco
On a recommendation we stopped for luch, arrived while staff eating, but we were profusely welcomed and tended to. English here is very limited and credit cards not accepted, be forewarned! We shared the beef tartare, flavored with lemon and mint (very subtly) scattered currants, a few blueberries and a spoonful of caviar. Sublime. I couldnt resist the idea of stuffed fresh pasta in pistaccio crema, so delicious. We didnt see any of the feral black pork on the menu, so i asked and they made up a plate of the sausage with sauteed spinach just for us. We had incredible red wine by the glass (too much driving back to giadini naxos for a bottle) connoli and cafe all for 56 euros. We are so happy we did.

The Etna Quota Mille restaurant offer typical dishes of Sicilian tradition prepared with best typical products of Etna, Nebrodi and Alcantara Valley. A wide variety of flavors all share one essential characteristic: to be Sicilian. Sausage, Ferla and Porc
This was our second stay. The place is beautiful set in the Etna mountain Region. Breath taking views. The rooms are a good size but a bit spartan. The room was always very clean. Parking facilities are good, pool is very clean. The restaurant is amazing. You do get a discount when you dine here if you are staying in one of the rooms. Highly Recommended!

Friendly service. Very tasty local specialities and traditional dishes, we enjoyed especially their vegetarian dishes with pistachio and fresh vegetables during lunch. A bit difficult to find, but worth to visit and enjoy good and well prepared food in old medieval time cellar restaurant.

What an adventure all around! The rooms were absolutely unique - each one with their own bathroom. Just to walk around the park, to see the animals: goats, horses, geese, chickens etc. All is well cared for and loved. Wonderful vineyard loaded with grapes. Our dinner there was an adventure itself - lots of dishes for antipasti, the salads, the soups, the pasta, the meat, and the desserts - could not make it through the whole dinner. The house wine was fabulous. Most professional and friendly staff.

Cozy place in the historical center of Randazzo, about 40 places, typical cooking specialties mushrooms and local products. Many dishes based on legumes and vegetables in season, but also variety of meat.
Our favorite meal during a week-long trip around Sicily was here. The antipasti, including the home-made salami and fried vegetables, were incredible. Our group had five different pastas, all of which were beautifully done. When our wonderful servers -- the owner's husband and daughter -- realized that we were visiting Randazzo because we share the town's name as our surname, they gave us a 90 minute tour of the historical downtown. I've never received such incredibly thoughtful and kind service at any another restaurant.Thank you Dominic for your wonderful words. It was a great pleasure for us knowing you and spending a few hours together, giving you the opportunity to try a typical sicilian lunch, composed of homemade products, and guiding you on a tour through the town centre of our medieval Randazzo. My family and I hope we will welcome you again.

We took the famous train from Catania called the Circumetrea, which started running in 1895. We boarded at the starting station Borgo and we headed up the mountain to see the stunning views. We got off the train in Randazzo and walked around the lovely town until we found this shop which offered local products for sale as well as a few tables. We sat down and we were welcomed by the son of the owner and we sat down for a wonderful plate of local cheeses and red wine, whilst we viewed the amazing products on sale in the shop and he offered us a taste of several of the products. We chose about 60 Euro-worth of these great local products so then our host offered us the cheese and wine we had enjoyed......for free!!! WHAT a lovely guy (his father is Pippo Calo who stared the activity, I think he is Peppe) and he made us feel very welcome indeed. LOVELY place, products and people.

Restaurant Manager: Chef Patron Antonio Fucile .Week closing: on Tuesday. Vacation closing : 15 days in February. Reservation: Required . Specialties : Typical old traditional Sicilian dishes with new combinations and innovative techniques . Mediterranean
Antonio opened his restaurant specifically upon request by my fiancé who had proposed to me a few hours earlier (normally, the restaurant is closed on tuesdays). We were offered the most spectacular tasting menu on this planet. We had about 10-12 courses and the food, combined with the atmosphere, and the attention that Antonio devoted to each course made this dinner the most memorable and meaningful dining experience. Antonio is a thoughtful and talented chef and I highly recommend visiting his restaurant. Grazie Antonio!!!
