Prato (Italian pronunciation: [ˈpraːto] ( listen)) is a city and comune in Tuscany, Italy, the capital of the Province of Prato. The city is at the foot of Monte Retaia, elevation 768 metres (2,520 ft), the last peak in the Calvana chain. The lowest elevation in the comune is 32 metres (105 ft), near the Cascine di Tavola, and the highest is the peak of Monte Cantagrillo at 818 metres (2,684 ft). The Bisenzio (river), a tributary of the Arno, flows through it.

We went for a quick meal tonight. We had a wonderful antipasto, followed with fungi pasta & oven roasted pork. Everything was nice, although the pork was very salty- if you didn't eat the outside it was much better.Full of locals, and really friendly and good service. 2 courses for â¬33. Fantastic valueThank You for coming in our Osteria,thanks for your beutiful feedback,see You next time when returned in Prato!!! Bye bye Osteria team

This was the best meal we had in our three nights in Prato centre. The owner hosted us with generosity and enthusiasm. The family running this restaurant made sure that our meal and our experience was exactly what we needed. Food was great, wine was lovely, and above all, hospitality was beyond expectations. Note to self: go back. Frequently and soon.

In quella piana in cui ci si perde senza il navigatore non ci saremmo arrivati. Ma ne vale la pena! Un locale semplice nella sua struttura ma molto ben arredato con poche cose e con molti colori alle pareti. Cucina di impronta "popolare" con molti richiami alla tradizione toscana ( carne fritta, lampredotto, mortadella di prato) e con piatti segnati da un buon livello di fantasia. Servizio curato nella sua schiettezza. Poche bottiglie toscane ma di buon livello.

There is no service at the table, the wine , only red, comes from a barrel and well , the wine pretty which is ordinary is the best part of a visit. I only came because of the Trip Advisor reviews. I think they are really misleading The cutlery is plastic,the food reheated and this place should be rated as a restaurant 1/5 or 0/5Having said this the staff are friendly- well they dont have much to do !!? They dont serve on tableThe worst place I have been to have dinner in 11 years teaching in Prato a diseastro!!Probabilmente essendo straniero non ha capito lo "spirito " del locale,che infatti non è un ristorante ma una paninoteca street food, come visibilmente scritto sull'insegna, inoltre cenando con 9 euro e mezzo non si può pretendere di avere un servizio paragonabile ad un lussuoso ristorante . Ringrazio comunque il cliente per la preziosa recensione di cui terrò conto cercando di migliorare ulteriormente il servizio .

Came here as part of a large group which had a pre-ordered menu so we didn't get to pick- however no worries as everything was delicious. A selection of starters and mains all served really hot and without exception were really tasty. Would definitely come back here to personal dine.

Di ritorno per una cena fra amici, abbiamo trovato il locale rinnovato (aspetto positivo).Per l'aspetto culinario qualcosa da rinnovare a mio avviso: antipasti toscani (nella media), pizza troppo cotta e poco farcita con salsa di pomodoro da rivedere, dolce torta millefoglie non esaltante.Peccato perché la location merita nel senso che ha sia tavoli interni che esterni con buoni spazi.
