Our ingredients are what sets us aside from the rest. Our recipes are secrets that have been kept for centuries and used in our restaurants for decades. We've tried and tested and now created. AWARD WINNING FOOD WITH A SEA VIEW Our food is locally sourced
Firstly if you do choose to go, ensure you request the specials menu which is advertised outside but not offered voluntarily.... you will be given the normal menu and told what the soup of the day is... this is because you are assumed to be thick and will be duped into ordering from the normal menu...The food from the 'specials' menu is bland stale and sloppy... and by the way just a smaller portion than that which you get if you order from the normal menu...The place is like a wind tunnel with door open much of the time...presumably to try and rid the smell from the toilets which are in the same room you are eating in... what happened to the 2 door rule?Lastly when you check your bill...make sure you see the service charge....

It was a wet & windy evening, but my friend & I received a warm welcome when we arrived. It's quite bijou with a nice atmosphere. The service was unhurried, but at the same time very attentive. Before our starter arrived, the lady brought over a couple of bowls of minestrone soup for us to try - on the house! It was delicious, as was everything else we had.Definitely returning - definitely recommending it to my friends.Thank you Andy, we are so pleased you enjoyed your evening with us on such a rotten night. We look forward to seeing you again soon. If you are on facebook do like our page to find out more about the offers we shall be offering over the winter months.

Da Vinci's Italian restaurant is located in an old warehouse, right on the bustling quay. Da Vinci's Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner every day. With picturesque views of Poole Harbour's glistening waters, antique charm and a friendly welcome from
My friend and I had a girls night out at Da Vinciâs in August. We had a lovely evening! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. There was a very warm, cosy atmosphere and it felt welcoming and buzzy - perfect for an Italian restaurant. I had a pasta meal which was really tasty and my friend had a pizza, which was just as delicious. Thank you Da Vinciâs, we will definitely be back!Thank you for reviewing our restaurant and we are so pleased that you enjoyed your evening with us. See you both again soon!

As a small Italian restaurant, we take pride in providing superb service and food within a relaxed restaurant environment.
I have lived in the Poole area for many years, but somehow never visited this great restaurant. We went with friends who have visited before so it was recommended. The food was amazing and great value for money. Little things like can you add extra garlic, was no problem, and done!! Thoroughly enjoyed everything here and will be back. Great Italian without the hype. We experienced good service.

independent family restaurant on Poole quay with views of Poole harbour. One of two restaurants (the other one is called Coffee Club Westbourne) All the staff work very hard to provide a good experience and hope that you enjoy your visit, and return to vi
Nothing here hit the spot for us. Tea was cool not hot. Food came out of a freezer like the thin greasy chips and plastic pizza. Tables were still loaded with plates and needed cleaning.

Nice welcome, good service and response to specific requests for changes in the pizzas. Good Arancini to start and tasty pizzas, particularly the Barbecoa new range. No Marinara pizzas though, disappointed to say the least.Nice experience but you may get a better atmosphere at a true Italian restaurant rather than a chain.

Found this place by chance one rainy August weekday evening while on holiday with our 12 and 14 year olds in the area. We were lucky to find that they had tables available. Other people there were a large family group celebrating something, and a few couples who also seemed to be regulars, and according to their website the restaurant seems to have been there for around 40 years now. It's very traditional inside, in a late 80s/early 90s way - but I liked this retro feel! As soon as we entered, the staff greeted us warmly. It looks small from the street, but there is plenty of room further back in the restaurant, down a corridor you can't see from the street, and I think upstairs. Spacing between tables was reasonable. The menu options were very good and absolutely delicious. My son had the garlic bread with cheese as a starter, and I tried some and found it was the best we have had anywhere. For vegetarians I can highly recommend the arancini to start, as these were incredibly tasty - however the arancini balls were simply huge, and came with a salad, and so it was like a main course in size!Moving on to the mains, I had the delicious tagliatelle al fungi, and hubby had spaghetti con polpette, both of which were very good and we polished off, though feeling very full from the starters! Our children had pizzas - and these again were huge! I think they were the largest individual pizzas I have ever seen! They have very healthy appetites and no longer need a children's menu in restaurants, but they could not finish these! Apparently smaller ones are available on request, perhaps on a children's menu, and they both said they would request this smaller size if we visited again. Even for an adult the pizza size would have been too large, especially with starters beforehand. We didn't, and indeed couldn't, have desserts - we were far too full! However, despite the overly large portions, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, felt that the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and that it was just a comfortable place to 'be'. We felt valued as customers. We actually considered returning on the next evening, the last night of our stay, but tried another nearby Italian as a change, which we subsequently regretted as it was nowhere near as good! When next in the area this restaurant is definitely somewhere we would wish to return. Thank you.

We were tempted into Ginali's by the offer of whole grilled sea bass on the specials board outside. And what a delicious piece of fish it was too. Beautifully cooked and nicely presented, simply served with boiled potatoes and some roasted vegetables. It was probably a good job that we hadn't bothered with a starter because I doubt if we would have been able to finished it all otherwise.Pleasant staff, nice surroundings and delicious food at very reasonable prices - what a pity that we don't have a decent Italian restaurant like this in Exeter.

Without doubt, the very best authentic Italian/Sardinian cuisine in a very wide area (Poole/Bourrnemouth/Christchurch). Their 'pasta' sauces are amazing amamazingamazing truly amazing
We have been dining here for quite a few years now & love it. The owners & staff make you very welcome, the atmosphere is good & the food, well, it is consistently excellent, not to mention very reasonably priced! The menu is predominantly Sardinian & delicious.

This a nice friendly place - small with only a few tables. The front of house chap was very welcoming. Good service. Excellent food - I had monkfish which was lovely. Recommended
