Just up one of the cobbled arcade streets, tables set outside. Menu wasn't vast, but enough for choices. Portion sizes were quite small, although my pizza was delicious my husband felt that his pasta dish was a child sized portion. Waiter was very attentive. Bottled drinks only but good coffee and cold beer. We loved the ambience and the view as the place was located in an old medieval building with chairs and tables inside or out in the passage with sun umbrellas for shade. We would perhaps describe this place as a snack bar rather than a restaurant, whatever, we had a nice, albeit small lunch in the heart of the district for a reasonable cost. We were given a loyalty card and we would go back there given its proximity to the centre, shops and attractions.

When out of my way to have a pizza , it should be against culinary law to serve such a dreadful so call pizza , how can it be legal !What makes a good pizza is simply main ingredients , tomatoes ,100% mozzarella and home made fresh base ! The base was a disaster , uncooked un-risen , how hard is it to put flour water and a touch of olive oil , salt and yeast , mix and let it prove and then make a base . Then you have a base with life , not what I got a dead flat uncooked disc .Sorry but if you are the owner and reading this , go on a course or just change your sign to crepes and delete PIZZERIA .Hi Marcello,I'm the owner, and accept my appologies about your pizza. If you known what you want, why didn't ask it to me.Of course it's very simplistic to make a good pizza.Come with me in the kitchen for the next time !Franck

We are on our last day of our holiday in Camors and decided to try this restaurant for lunch. It was quite quiet which wasn't problem. It was Bastille Day so that may have been why. The freshly made pizzas were delicious and I would recommend a visit to this friendly local eatery.thank s a lot for this lovely comment wee will be very happy to see you again on your next trip to britanny

Very surprising to see this establishment so high up the rankings. We dined early on a Saturday evening having read good reviews. Our experience was very different. Firstly, it is fair to say that the pizza were reasonable, but far from the best we have tasted, the service was adequate, although we were surprised to see cans of drink being delivered to tables on a "pour it yourself" basis. Our overall impression, however, was that this was primarily a takeaway pizza/fast food operation not a restaurant. The telephone orders were almost constant with customers arriving in a queue at the door to collect. Not a pleasant dining experience with people coming and going on a regular basis in a crowded reception area. The wine and pizzas that we had were reasonably priced, but we do not plan to return any time soon when the town has much nicer places, offering a pleasant dining experience at similar prices.

Take away only and not the quickest, but then it's one guy doing it an it's popular. The pizzas are really good and so is the value.

Double recommendation (tripadvisor and the owner of our B&B) led us to spent our last evening in Bretagne in restaurant Al Dente. The expectations were very high, and were met from the start. The waiters were very friendly, and the apetisers (focacia, tomato, croquette of sardines, mozzarella were of a very promising level. In the evening, you can only take the menu (a 27 EUR) which consist of a choice between 2 starters, 2 main dishes and 4 desserts. We took one of each starter and main dish, and all 4 dishes were outstanding. Many congrats to the chef and his team in the kitchen. The desserts just followed the quality of the dishes and were very good. Why then not a quotation of 5/5, but only 4/4 ? Well the tempo of the meals was very slow. We started at 19:30 and 3 courses later, we finished after 22:00. Just 3 courses in 2,5 hours is much to slow. And knowing the restaurant is âItalianâ we expected a bit more âenergyâ.
