Reviews on Italian food in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Playa del Carmen is one of the top diving destinations in the world, thanks to vibrant sea life and dazzling underwater caverns. On dry land, Playa is a hipper and more modern version of the fishing village it once was. Spend some quality time on the golf course or wave hello to the playful spider monkeys at The Jungle Place sanctuary. Explore the ancient ruins of the Coba Mayan Village, or get in some quality people-watching as you shop and stroll along 5th Avenue.

Ristorante con colazione messicana e americana buffet dalle 8 a 12 . Nel pomeriggio e cena mangiare italiano con pasta fatta in casa romagnola e internazionale
We were looking for both and found them combinated in delicious way. The sevice was excellent (Patricia and Julieta were always attending us). Prices very convenient for the quality and size of the dishes. Will come again soon.

This was our second time eating at Arezzo while staying at the Fives Azul resort. It does require a reservation, which we had the first time we ate there. However, we had planned to eat at another restaurant on the resort for our anniversary dinner, The Brasserie. It does not require reservations, and we just got dressed and headed over there around 8:15, only to discover it was closed for renovations, and clearly had been for some time (like, weeks). It was highlighted during check in as an available restaurant option, and since itâs tucked away on an upper floor near the lobby, weâd never had a chance to walk by it to see that it was closed. So here we are, dressed up for our anniversary and we open the restaurant door to construction workers, the sounds of drilling and jackhammering, and clouds of dust (yes, at 8:15 pm!). Ok, plan B. We decided to head down to Sea Olive, which is at the opposite end of the resort by the beach and also doesnât require reservations. We headed to the front lobby to catch a shuttle cart, which came about 10 min later, and got to Sea Olive (which is closed on Thursdays, but this is a Tuesday evening) around 8:30. To find it completely deserted. No staff, nothing, and the posted hours say it doesnât close until 10 pm. And the shuttle has, of course, already left. At this point my husband is hot and irritated, and my feet in my heels arenât interested in too much more wandering around - and we are HUNGRY. So I suggested that we head upstairs from Sea Olive and see if Arezzo can possibly squeeze us in without a reservation. I wasnât optimistic because Iâd seen people whoâd tried that tactic earlier in the week be turned away. When we came in the door we were very graciously greeted by the two hostesses, one of which was Alexandra. When we explained the evening weâd had so far and that it was our anniversary dinner, they were really wonderful and understanding, and found us a table right away. And it was busy in there (probably because everything else was closed!). Our waiter Saul provided excellent service and good recommendations on desserts, as well as bringing us two Kir Royales for us to toast. And the chef sent out a beautifully decorated dessert plate (pic attached). Food wise, I highly recommend the wild mushroom and truffle risotto, the flavor was out of this world and it was perfectly cooked. The staff at Arezzo really went out of their way to make our night special. Thank you!

Coco's Cabañas is located 5 minutes walking distance to the beach or 3 minutes by bike (free). It is a 3 star hotel, small and cozy retreat, along the Mexican Caribbean, Riviera Maya, 6 km from Playa del Carmen. It has only 6 private bungalows, each with
This was my families 4th year in a row to Playa Del Carmen where we eat lunch at Coco's a few times during each visit. It's a quaint little place situated off the beach, which is perfect for a nice quiet lunch. You are always greeted with a smile and feel instantly welcome. This year, we had Rana as our server for all 3 of our visits. He was very friendly and we enjoyed talking to him. The food and drink is top notch. We always start with either a mojito or the Silvia Margarita. Both are crafted with the freshest ingredients and are delicious. This year, we went back to the reliable coconut shrimp, which is crispy and cooked perfectly. We also tried the spicy garlic shrimp, which was amazing. Served with bread, so nice to dip in the spicy sauce. Entrees, we always get the Mariner pizza (shrimp & mushrooms) since it's always spot on very enjoyable. This year, tried the fresh grilled octopus that was nicely crispy from the grill, but also very tender that it almost melted in your mouth. I've yet to have a bad meal here. If you are in Playa Del Carmen and looking for a place with great food and even better staff, Coco's is the place to go. We'll be back next year for sure.Thank you so much! We really appreciate your review, we are so happy to hear that you enjoy our food! We hope to see you again on your next trip!René will be glad to hear that you appreciate his service! Greetings from the Coco's Cabañas tema!

If you are looking for an authentic italian experience, you are in the right place! Andrea and Paolo are the perfect hosts, they will make you feel at home, and the food is just amazing! There is great attention to details,it is informal but very clean and cozy, you can see why all the italian residents are recurring guests here, it is just like a piece of Italy in Playa del Carmen.Being neapolitan I can tell they have the best pizza I have ever eaten abroad, and their eggplant parmigiana is really tasty as well!Save some room at the end for their tiramisù and don't forget the limoncello!Going back tonight to try the seafood.

My wife and I have named this one of our favorite restaurants. This day I went solo for lunch. Having been here before I was familiar with their menu (I will posting pictures of their current offerings) and already knew what I wanted, The Arugula and Lettuce Salad. Plenty for a lunch on a warm Mexican day. It has of course, lettuce and arugula but also slices of dried apricots, sunflower seeds, julienne of beet root, and little balls of warm fried goat cheese and served with a zesty dressing. This salad rocks. Do yourself a favor, try this place you will be pleased that you did. In fact, invite me along. I will meet you there.

My husband and I along with our friends visited this restaurant last Monday after reading the reviews on Trip advisor and we were not disappointed. The husband and wife team who own this restaurant were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. The steaks we ordered were fantastic and the Tiramisu was the best we had tasted outside of Italy. My friend and I ordered a G&T and it was made (with all the trimmings) at our table, just delicious. I wish we could have visited again before coming home but unfortunately we didn't get the chance. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting playa del Carmen

After reading the 5 star reviews for Oseteria De Roma, my husband and I decided to try for ourselves. It does not disappoint! Their bread is home made (and delicious), pastas fresh with super flavorful sauces and the tiramisu to die for. The owner/chef was very attentive coming over to see how we enjoyed our meal and service was first class. Should we find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely return. Thank you very much for leaving us your comment. We are happy that you have been well. We hope to see you again soon
