Things to do in Pismo Beach
We ate here in July 2013 and we really enjoyed the experience. We don't come to Pismo for Italian food. We mainly stick to Splash Cafe's clam chowder and BBQ at various restaurants. We were talking to some people the had eaten here and they told us that the food was wonderful so we thought that we would change our beach diet and go Italian. I'm glad we did. The food is great the portions are large and the staff are warm and inviting. If you have a taste for Italian do yourself a favor and give Pasta Bella a try.

After a long day driving the PCH from Monterey, a pizza sounded perfect. We had seen the reviews of Del's days earlier and decided to stop. Looks a little nicer than an lot of pizza/Italian restaurants. Really liked the all black uniforms of the servers. Let me get to the best part of the meal. Rolls, great little rolls that were served as appetizers. With the butter they are killers. Now the not so good. We ordered the house speciality pizza. It has pepperoni, meatballs, black olives and more. it looked good, was hot and was well cooked but the taste was disappointing. The most disappointing house speciality we've ever had. There were some good flavors but was very mild, too mild. (Is this the California style?) Personally we prefer some zing in our pizza. It didn't help that the medium pizza was about $22. Hardly a bargain. Without the rolls we would have really been POed.We might return for more rolls but not for pizza.

I must say I had one of the nicest pizzas of our trip here, my partner had the spaghetti meatballs and he said it was great, the service was so good and the guy that served us gave us some great advice on the rest of our trip and where to stop off and we took his advice and it all worked perfectly so thanks,

The top pizza in the photo is the Gino's Special. The other is a gluten free pepperoni and mushroom pizza. Both size small. My family of 4 had leftovers from 2 small pizzas!! Couldn't believe it. Each slice was so filling and delicious. My daughter had the spaghetti and raved about it and said the garlic bread was great!. As a person with celiac its hard to find good gf gifs. But this pizza was amazing!!! The staff was smiling and friendly. And the atmosphere was very relaxed, even had a few games for the kids, pinball, racing game, etc..

We stay in Pismo Beach in the Winter and Giuseppeâs is one of our favorite places to eat. They have a very wide variety of foodsânot just pizza, but pastas, great salads, and delicious desserts. The staff is friendly and efficient. There are several tables in the shop, and you can also order to go. Love it!

As we were a party of two, we did not have to wait as long as the bigger parties. Very busy, but service was agreeable, nice server Frank T. My wife had Minestrone $7.50, very nice with a Caesar salad $9.00. I choose the Cannelloni, $17.00, but what a portion. It was good, but not brilliant, hence the 4 not 5 score. With wine and beer $10 & $7 respectively, followed by one cappuccino @ $3.95, came to a total of $59 including tax. So good value. Recommended.Thank you for your feedback!
