Nice location and setting. Lots of bricks. Bar on the first floor with more tables upstairs. They have happy hour specials and the food is very good. Good service. I liked the goat cheese appetizer and the wedge salad. Didn't actually try the pizza this time around. Good beer on tap. I will come back I hope. Live band on Saturday night.

We walked here from our room at the Sheraton and are glad we did. This place is quite large and it was quite empty, which is surprising because the food was so good. The ambiance is not the greatest but the service was very good. We had the Spaghetti Caruso and the Fettuccini Eggplant with their homemade sausage. Get That! It was excellent. Really, really good food.
I had tried Hectors, Old Chicago, Round Table, Mary's, and 4 or 5 others. I didn't want gooey, thick crust stuffed with processed "cheese," pesto-laden, "Italian" style pies, square "Sicilian" versions, or half-baked ham and pineapple "buy 3, get 2 free" types. I wanted a bare-bones, THIN crusted, warm, NEW YORK style pizza. That's what I got. The large costs $18 and I couldn't find any coupons; pizzas are the most heavily-couponed food on earth. It was delivered in 30 minutes as promised, and it was cheese, tomato sauce on a THIN, crisp, tasty crust. PERIOD.

Came for lunch after seeing the reviews but was disappointed. Food was ok. Sauce for bread delicious but bread was plain white wonder bread like. Arugula salad and crab cake sandwich good but ravioli dry. Why a beef filling with mushroom sauce for the raviolis? Seems a lot of seniors frequent the place...donât know why.

New Yorker Pizza And Restaurant
My wife and I shared a delicious eggplant parmesan sandwich. This colossal sandwich could probably serve 3 people. The bread was very light and the sandwich ingredients were marvelous.

I absolutely love this place. It is quaint, family run and the service top notch. Beautiful building, was a prohibition bar and then a market and now a restaurant. there is a wonderful light and airy feel, marine decor and historical pictures throughout the restaurant. I was here for a Lent dinner and the Cioppino was incredible! For all of you non Bay area residents, it is a famous fish stew originating from Italian immigrant fishermen who lived in San Francisco. It is a historical regional dish and you can actually taste the history in it. Pairing it with a California white wine, sublime. I had a chance to see the owner who was playing the accordion, it was wonderful. What a warm touch to our meal.

They have a diverse menu and daily specials. Six of us went there for dinner and several had the crab ravioli and they thought it was excellent and loaded with fresh crab. The pesto gnocchi was exceptional as was the veal piccata. Salads were fresh and tasty. Servings were large and everyone was too full for the beautiful desserts. They had a good wine list. Service was prompt, courteous, and attentive.

We could easily have eaten here multiple times in the couple days we stayed in Petaluma. The ricotta gnocchi I had was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delectable! We didn't try any of the crostini but I heard great things from locals while there. The wine list is great with a good variety from Italy and California - smart to pare it down to two locales! I'd love to visit again!

RisibiWe went on a Thursday night and made reservations, glad we did because restaurant is tiny and they fill up quickly.Impressive wine list small food menu, ask about the specials. We shared the beef carpaccio as an appetizer, lots of flavor the meat was almost unbelievably thin! For dinner we shared Orecchiette Salsiccia, it had a whole lot more pasta and cauliflower then it did the pork fennel sausage which was a little disappointing but the pasta was very filling so we did not walk away hungry. They serve bread with the meals and we ordered a bottle of Chianti (if you order a bottle of wine be sure your going to finish it as there is a $20.00 corkage fee.Service was good, tables were a little closer then I would have liked for a romantic dinner.Parking is a bit limited in the downtown area.

Four of us dined here tonight. Two of us had a special salad with fresh peaches. It was very good but there were hardly enough peaches to be noticed and they were sliced very thin. Not really a sufficient portion for an entrée salad. My husband had sea bass and our guest had penne pasta. These were both satisfied with dishes. The bread was good and the service was prompt . The acoustics in this restaurant are not great so it was difficult to have a four-way conversation even though we were seated across from one another. Three people had wine and none of us had dessert. Three people had coffee at the end of the dinner and the total bill was $170. A bit pricey considering two of us had salads As a main course.
