i have known this restaurant since it opened in 1988 and it is the only place I know that has kept up it's high level of quality and authentic simplicity since then. Arturo, the owner and cook and his wife Kety are the perfect hosts and their recommendations are always worth following. the antipasti and the fish offering are outstanding and the pasta is the best in Austria - I have never come across better pasta!!my favourite place is the tiny, romantic garden at lunch time with it's 6 small tables and the relaxing shade - I could stay there for hours and hours. and in the evenings it is extremely popular so one must book 2 -3 days in advance. I wish more restaurants would be as natural and as consistent in quality as dear Arturo and Kety...

Popped in here for dinner before a concert and it was quite busy at 1830. There are various different areas to eat - some cosier than others, but all nice. Minestrone soup was delicious, and the prawns too. Mains - a lovely pizza and pasta cooked in a parcel with seafood. Washed down with some tasty wines - a nice evening and service to match. We will return...

I have visited this restaurant several times, as their opening times are long and decent. Food is good, basic italian.Only one experience differs this restaurant to be a very good one.If restaurant needs to ask me, if I accept "this" portion even if it is not perfect, I do not give 4 or 5 stars for the restaurant. Chef always sets the definition for the quality and if the portion does not meet that, it is clear that it is not delivered in the first place to the customer at all.But otherwise good price level, tasty food.

Italian food at its best cooked in a fammily setting in Vienna (Mauer). The restaurant is small and it is full because the food is so tasty. Service is excellent and deserves the best reccomendation
