We ate here late and the restaurant was very busy. Service was very slow and the food took a long time to come. Bruchetta and cheese croquettes were fine but we both then went for the spaghetti with clams and mussels which is normally a safe bet in any Italian restaurant. Ordinary is about the best way to sum it up and coupled with the slow service - with numerous reminders not to forget about us- my 3 out of 5 is generous and is a nod to how busy they were, all be it they could have turned us away if things were getting away from them.Perhaps on another night when they were a little less overwhelmed this may have been better but on the strength of this experience I would struggle to recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Make reservations here as it does fill up fast, especailly Thursday, Friday Saturday. After 3 weeek sin Greece we decided to have an Italian dinner and this place di not dissapoint. teh food was basic Italian cuisine, nothong overly complicated on the menu, but baisc good Italian cuisine. The owner is a bit eccentric in a good way and seemed to be a bit drunk as dinner went on, but very friendly. The service staff were nice at dinner though initially were a bit gruff when we came into the restaurant earlier in the day to make a reservation. Once again the food was basic but decent. We saw a few couples in here bjut don;t really think it is appropriate for large parties with kids - more of place for couples or to take a date. The wine selection was good and overall we were happy with our meal here.

In the heart of the old town of Corfu, we like to suggest you the Italian restaurant and pizzeria Aglio e Olio Da Giovanni. During your holidays on Corfu island you can't miss a visit to the old town, amazing during the day and romantic during the night.
Fantastic restaurant with outdoor seating and tables on the balcony. Excellent vegan/veggie and gluten free options especially the gluten free pizza. Service from allesandro was brilliant too! Definitely recommend especially to people looking for gluten free food in Corfu.

We went for a dinner with my sister. There was a plenty of free table and we took one. Meanwhile one older couple came also and asked for a table. The waiter took us off the table and said it was reserved but it wasnât because they came in after us and look for a free table. Dissapointing expirience...

Warm friendly service with authentic Italian cuisine. You can view the sail boats coast along the Benitsa coastline of the Ionian while drinking your favorite Italian or Greek glass of wine and biting into a slice of thin slice pizza. You can build an appetite by taking a swim and laying down on a lounge provided on the beach below the terrace.Molto Benne!Grazie

La pergola is an Italian /corfiot restaurant situated in benitses. Lovely atmosphere and great food are waiting for you to try it.
On returning to Benitses for a short break, couldn't wait to go back to La Pergola. Food delicious on both evenings we visited. The mushrooms wrapped in ham and deep fried are lovely and tasty and the tzatziki is true to form wonderful in taste. Mains of spaghetti bolognese and steak with mushroom sauce hit the spot. Visit you will not be disappointed. The host is always milling about from table to table and this year we were even joined by a swallow in the beams. Thank you,Thank you so much for your kind words!!!! We wish to see you again!!!!!

Italian restaurant, quiet atmosfera, best ingredients, choice of wines, grafic location and home made desserts. Standing a few meters down a small alley near Guildford Square is "La Tavola Calda", a small and cozy Italian restaurant in Corfu town. This is t
This restaurant is a treasure, the quality of the products and the depth of flavour in the food is truly special. Nino the chef and owner is passionate, knowledgable about his food and really nice too. The seafood ravioli I ate there was honestly the best pasta dish I have ever had. I also loved the baked prawns with cheese which was really tasty. Grazie mille Nino! Please never change your belief in good ingredients and passion for delicious Italian food.We would love to return! My partner and I were on our honeymoon in Corfu and we were both unsure about going for an Italian meal when we were in Greece as we felt more keen to try the local cuisine. However, Corfu is so close to Italy and so many people in Corfu speak Italian that we figured that the mixing of Italian culture and Greek culture is part of Corfu's charm anyway, so we embraced it and we are so glad that we did!

I'm always a little suspicious of restaurants with only 4/5 ratings in case it's just all the owner's mates. But not this one is indeed that good. Fantastic thin crispy and ever-so-tasty pizzas, nice salad and a wine list which is well priced (â¬6 per 0.5l) and drinkable (very) as it is short (red or white). Salads â¬6ish, pizzas up to â¬13 at the priciest.Possibly the nicest pizza I've ever eaten.

This restaurant happened to be the closest to our hotel. This proved to be very fortuitous as it is an excellent restaurant with great food and attentive but non-intrusive service. Indeed it was so good that we went back a second time and if time allowed would have gone back even a third time. The food was very tasty and well prepared with sufficient variety to keep everyone in our group happy. It was well priced especially given the quality of the food. I would happily recommend Divino as a place to eat when in Corfu Town.
