Friends recommended the pizzeria and we indulged. On a Saturday night, with scarce parking and a small wait (35mins.), compared to others with much longer waits, the thin crust was so wonderful, I anxiously await a return trip. We kept it simple with a family-style Italian salad and two small pies (one plain, one sausage). The meal was delectable with a carafe of the house burgundy.

A Zagat-rated trendy and upbeat Italian wine bar offering delicious Italian cuisine, over 40 wines served by the glass and signature cocktails.
We went for lobster night and it was packed! The presentation of the lobster was great, it was split down the center and filled with vegetables. I had the lobster ravioli which was done in a cream sauce with sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms and shrimp. Great flavor. We also enjoyed the warm bread with olive oil. The service was also terrific. It was too loud but that didn't stop us from enjoying our meal there. Recommended.

We know Italian food, traveling extensively through Italy every year, and Agostinos consistently offers the best and most authentic Italian meals weâve eaten in NYC or Westchester over the many decades weâve lived here; plus delightful, considerate service and a thoughtful/reasonably priced wine list. The home-made pastas, in particular, are exceptional. This is real Italian food, reminiscent of Italy and particularly Abruzzo, delightfully different from the Italian-American food served at other âItalianâ restaurants in the region.

Old style restaurant, classy great atmosphere and service and wonderful food. Because it is a little further away we forget about it. Most were closed this Monday, Columbus day holiday, and they even had fresh fish delivered that morning. Grilled calamari, red snapper marechiara grilled lamb chops, tiramisu. Wonderful. Even the biscotti that came with the coffee were the best in the tri-state area. We will not forget about it anymore.

For starters the place feels a bit claustophobic perhaps due to the only windows being painted over with holidays cheers. Bread basket would have been a lovely start had the focaccia not been burnt to charcoal. The mozzarella in carrozza was inedible, deep fried in oil used elsewhere. The osso buco was just all right. The pasta dishes were huge, with quantity definitely detracting from quality. All in all, an American eatery, not quite authentic Italian cuisine.

This is a tiny storefront and everything you expect from the local pizza joint, even if you're just passing through. Crisp thin crust, brightly flavored sauce, and the staff is just awesome. Super friendly. Families came in and they knew the kids by name.

A lunch for four friends. Worthy of every superlative in the English language. We opted for the special menu, which was replete with multiple choices. Mine was a salad of beets and tomatoes with greens enhanced by an unobtrusive dressing. Followed by a snapper oreganata. Both delicious. Others at our table were similarly ecstatic with their varied choices of salmon,âchicken and veal. Deserts also terrific. Service pleasant, competent and attentive. Worth a trip from anywhere

Just had a great lunch at AJâs. Read about the place on TripAdvisor and it was every bit as delicious, friendly and fun as suggested. AJ spent time chatting about his homemade yummy food, sent over some things he just thought we should taste, and even chatted about bbq sauce with my husband, who has become an amateur rib chef this summer.Burgers were delish. Pulled pork, too. Perfectly cooked rabe. Excellent coleslaw. And spicy pickled veggies just yummy. Not one to take no for a dessert answer, AJ sent small ( thank goodness) bowls of Giffords orange sherbets and vanilla ice cream over causing us to recall the Creamsicles of our youth.Tomorrow: pizza at AJâs!
