The other evening was the third time I ate here. Twice before for lunch. While the lunches had been of good quality and a wide variety of plates available, I did not have that impression a few nights ago. The menu is not in written form, but was read to us. Common practice in a lot of restaurants around here. No problem! However, my husband and I arrived before our friends did. There was one other table close to us where 6 guests were seated. We were listening to the menu being read to them in order to already get an idea of what to order. About 15 minutes later, our friends had arrived and it was our turn to order. A lot less options than the other table. I guess they ran out of food already at 8 pm. I ordered ricotta and artichokes as an appetizer which was very nice. Also the pork was good. My husband had the 'guanciale' which was very tasty but nothing that would make us want to come back to this place. Altogether there was a total of 4 main dishes to choose from. Tripe, baccala', pork roast and the beef 'guanciale'. I would have liked to have had lamb chops that I had eaten there before, but they weren't available. Also no steaks! The fairly big restaurant was hardly heated. We sat next to the fireplace and still were cold. Only 3 tables occupied on a Sat night; maybe also an indication that price/ value is not the best. (At the 2 lunches I mentioned before, my friend and I were the only customers). I was also taken aback a bit by the fact, that the young waitress who served us prosecco at first, waited for us to finish the white wine and then poured red wine into the same glasses. Not up to standard for a place where you pay roughly 40 Euro pp. There are plenty of places in this area where one gets much better service for that kind of money.

Mai!
Here in Pasiano, about 1 hour outside Venice, you can experience authentic Italian food made with fresh local ingredients. It is a decades long tradition for the family owners. The food here is always done to perfection. Gnocchi and risotto are homemade and the spaghetti carbonara is a specialty. The mussel and clam pasta dish was one of my favorites. Lovely local prosecco on tap! New patio makes for comfortable relaxed dining.

Have come by as a guest to a friend and totally bemused by the environment and the food. Do not miss the ravioli and the special dessert

they specialize in fish dishes at his restaurant. Fish of impeccable quality; very nicely arranged. My husband does not eat fish and for him they prepared a well grilled steak called a 'tagliata' with potatoes, zucchini, artichokes and radicchio as side dishes. I had 2 'antipasti' which were delicious. Good value for your money!!

It was my brother's special day and I decided to take him and his girlfriend here to spend the evening together. The whole experience was fantastic - from the food that we ordered to the beer that Simone skillfully suggested for us to try. Everything was more than what we expected!I'd like to commend the whole staff - especially Simone and Gianluca for the great service! We will surely come back soon! :)

Weâre picky eaters, preferring to cook from scratch at home. So during our present trip to Italy and Austria weâve had the gamut from inexpensive to pretentious. We rarely give an excellent rating. We looked at reviews for restaurants close to our hotel and decided to try this one. Thereâs a small outdoor eating area but it was cool, so we ventured inside. At first, we only saw a bar area with a few tables. When we said we were there for dinner, we were led to a big room in the back. In one corner there was a pizza oven and this is one of their specialties. Their menu of pizzas and calzones is extensive and many people were ordering them. I chose their spaghetti with shrimp and prawns. Hubby chose gnocchi with zucchini and shrimp. My pasta was excellent, the sauce great with lots of cleaned shrimp and 2 larger prawns. Hubbyâs gnocchi were nice and tender. He then ordered their fritto misto and veggies on the grill. The fritto misto was as good as any weâve had in Italy. Fresh seafood and not greasy at all. Canât get anything close to it in North America!Unfortunately the menu was only in Italian and the servers we dealt with spoke minimal English. Translate the menu into English and they could attract more customers, however, staff was kept busy enough with their existing customers. Prices were VERY reasonable compared to most places weâve eaten at during our vacation. Highly recommend this local eatery!!!

Been going here for few years when in nearby town visiting. Every time is a wow experience, excellent fresh fish and perfect preparation; desserts to die for; professional, courteous, friendly service.. If not sure what to order, ask the host Sergio to build your tasting menu.. Enjoy!!

If you want meet and you are looking for a hidden champion restaurant - this is the place. Dont expect to much stylish ambient or choice of food (Florentina steak and little at the side - that's it). Also the place is simple Osteria style but its definitely worth going and I will do again for sure.
