We were staying at a nearby hotel (not the Barong, though) and decided to eat at the Equatore for dinner. The inside is decorated beautifully, and it was nice and cool. We were a group of six and had the most excellent service from the friendliest waitstaff who was eager to help and answer questions. I had the Indonesian fritter (??) plate for an appetizer. It had deep-fried plantains and some sort of corn fritter. Both were yummy. Then I had the spaghetti bolognese for dinner. It was also good, although it had more meat in it than I really needed. Several of the dinners at our table came out late, and the server offered both guests a free dessert. My friend shared her panna cotta with me and it was to die for! I wanted to order my own, but was too full. The only two downsides--one was that they don't have Coke, and the other was that my GF, vegan friend didn't have many choices on the menu. I wanted to go back again the next night, but our host took us out to dinner somewhere else.Thank you for the five-star review. We are so happy to read the reviews you write. Hopefully the pleasant experience of enjoying a meal here can forever be a good memory and don't hesitate to return if you visit Palembang again. We really appreciate the support.

I just went there, about 1 hour ago on Wed, 26 March 2014, for dinner. And to be honest, I choose to go to LVB only because the review are good mostly. I order Fettucine Ginger, and in my humble opinion and review, it was totally not a good food! This time I don't agree with all the reviews. The food kinda too much for its taste, and most of all, I don't like the texture! I ate in many Italian restaurant and ate many fettucine before, and LVB cannot fullfil my desire for food..Again, it just my humble opinion.. but for next, I won't go there anymore, if I visit Palembang..
