This is a fabulous discovery. Fabulous service and wonderful food. It doesn't get much better than this.

The place reckons to be something of an enoteca - but the owner is not at all friendly and the prices are ridiculously high. Food is pretentious and really very average. He has a sign outside advertising 'pane toscano' but the bread he sells is yesterday's stale leftovers from the baker round the corner!

Reminiscing on a lovely stay in this quiet, special place. Hosts were such wonderful, gentle and kind people. We are very pleased to see from the reviews they are still there. Thereâs nothing to dislike about this place. We travelled with friends in little cars and the drive through the hills was great fun. Worth the journey. We very much hope to see you both again. Do you have a website for your ceramic pictures Iâm looking but canât find one?

Much talked about, they are famous for their dishes with truffles and fresh mushrooms in the autumn. The problem is that the old cook retired and the new cook just throws truffles on anything! We went with friends and they brought out bruschette : usually you get a variety of different bruschette. While we did, they were not anything special.Nothing that we haven't seen anywhere else only heavier: too much cheese, etc. While the grigliata mista was average (its hard to ruin that), the pasta was disappointing: for example, the noodles with meat ragu had lots of cream in it and truffles! talk about overdoing it! While it was not a horrible experience (it is rustic cooking after all), it certainly did not merit all the claim it gets and I would have rather had a panino.

Today, the cycle of the natural seasons, still is a great dispenser of flavors and great commodities. The seasonal products have a unique flavor as well as great nutritional characteristics, which cannot be found in the same products when they are grown w
Definately the best place in town. Have tried all the restaurants in Marradi. Also a huge compliment to the host. The food is perfect, the view even better. We'll be back

This great pizzeria/ristorante is tucked away in the mediaeval quarter of Palazzuolo Sul Senio - at the head of the Senio valley and in the province of Florence (Tuscany) but on the Romagna side of the Appenines. A beautiful village in the cool of the mountains providing a refreshing break from the heat of the pianura.Oskar always cooks great pizze in the wood fired oven but on this occasion we decided to go for a Fiorentina steak (similar to T-Bone but cut to provide one side fillet and the other sirloin (contrafiletto)). Not only was it enormous - over 1kg - but extremely tasty and the chef came to the table to slice it for us. Price? Unbeatable at â¬3.50/100g. Couple that with good regional wine, great roast vegetables and decent music.
