The restaurant is in a converted, historic building (a bank?), and easily accessible from both the tourist area of Otaru and the station. We have eaten here twice (once in the depths of last winter's snow and again just last month) - both times for a largish family group evening meal. A range of different types of food were ordered, everybody was pleased. The food was well-prepared, promptly served, and delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. Would recommend eating here. Souvenirs and wine-tasting are also available here, but we have not tried them.

Found this place while walking to Hanazono Ginza and decided to return for the evening. What a great evening it was. The chef who was also the owner was soooo friendly. They had English menu presented outside and inside. The food I would describe it as new age Italian with a Japanese twist! All tasted excellent. We had some assorted appetisers, some excellent pastas, and good wine. They accept credit cards and you sing n a machine with your finger!

My wife and I were tired after a long day traveling from Tokyo to Otaru and decided to try the special set dinner advertised at our hotel. This amazing little restaurant is just 7 minutes walk from the train station. Itâs a cozy space, with just 3 tables and counter seating, an open kitchen, wood oven and funky music. Our dinner was excellent and we recommend everything we ordered. We werenât sure what to expect from the sausage and beans but it was delicious and flavorful (the beans were actually lentils). The pizza was EXCELLENT and reminded me of Eataly. Yes, Mario Bataliâs Eataly in NYC. The crust had the perfect amount of chew, the tomato sauce was thick and rich. Big surprise at the end: a spectacular cheesecake that was dense like NY cheesecake but sweeter and crustless like Japanese cheesecake. Weâre in Otaru for 3 days and def will return!

Following trip advisor to this lovely little restaurant. The chef was super friendly and has been very kind to give us some extra dishes for free. He was so excited when knowing his restaurant has been ranked 5-stars on trip advisor. High quality food and customers are very kind. We had a nice interaction with everyone here. What a great night. Highly recommend this place!
