One of the best pizzas I've had in Italy. In Italy most of the restaurants cook the pizzas in a wood oven which is great but sometimes the pizza is burnt on the top and less cooked in the middle. The forgia pizza was cooked all the way through and I can tell they use semolina flour so it comes out crispy. Awesome! I ordered the carpaccio pizza with truffle oil. So delicious. The appetizers looked really good too but I got a nice fresh salad and a small bottle of local white wine called Arneis which is similiar to a Chardonnay. Panna cotta with blueberries for desert which the lady said she made herself. You can't go wrong at this place but there isn't a lot of seating so you should probably make a reservation if you are a big group.

A two hours walk to be there. The landscape is great, and you will be at the "Rifugio" you would be pleased of the long walk. Get yr home-made meal (don't miss Polenta, and great pastas), then abandon yrselves to enjoy sun, landscape and peace.

Apart from the excellent service the food was fantastic. We ate there on a Sunday and the parking was a little hectic, of course it is also the time of the year. They were completely full. You have to make reservations. The cooking was comprised of local products. Well worth the drive and we will certainly return............

On the recommendation of friends we booked in as a group for dinner, bed, breakfast and a walk with snow shoes in the woods. On arrival we had a warm welcome and were shown to our rooms. The rooms were simple, but very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The young team who run the locale are delightful, relaxed and unfurled. After an aperitivo, we were kitted out with snow shoes and off into the night we went, it was a good two hour walk into the woods, and although slightly challenging at tomes, was well worth the effort. On arrival at the Locanda we had a very hearty dinner (with slow cooked pork cooked in the village oven) with well priced local wine.A good nights sleep, breakfast served without fuss.We will be backâ¦. en masse. Complimenti!

The restaurant is open on sundays from Easter to the end of september and Every day for lunch in July and August. The cafe is open every day in July and August. This year the hotel is closed.
A very pleasant restaurant with a good atmosphere. The service was excellent with a gracious waiter (owner). The starters were very good but the rest was just ok. You do not leave hungry.

Rifugio anzi ristorante, servizio molto accurato e porzioni veramente esagerate! Personale squisito.

For a start this restaurant is called the Osteria del Borgo. We arrived late at night around 2130 and despite the hour were welcomed in a warm, clean and friendly interior which had clearly been restored recently. Of note were the toilet facilities which were outstanding in the basement. The staff were incredibly friendly and we had their antipast which were unusual - all traditional Piemontese specialities filled with a variety of tasty herbs and cheeses. The menu is tradition Piedmontese of a kind that reminded me of my childhood home cooking when we had a Piedmontese cook from Robilante nr. Cuneo. We had excellent pasta with a game sauce washed down with good quality Barbera. Desert was 'bonet' a classic. Altogether a most satisfactory experience. The restaurant is part of the Slow Food movement.
