Da Bianca is a hidden gem. We were in the mood for Italian and saw great online reviews. We went and were not disappointed. The beef carpaccio was dynamite, as were the lasagna and scallops. Definitely go here if you want some authentic cuisine with engaging family service.

Had Sunday brunch here and it was delicious. It was busy at 11am on Sunday morning but only had to wait about 5 minutes.Had the Spanish omelet and it was very good. Also really liked the breakfast potatoes. It was a warm morning so I had their flavored iced tea and it was really good.Would definitely go there again.

I absolutely do not get why this place is highly reviewed. It is counter service ordering with too few seating spots and the pizza is very mediocre and expensive. This is equivalent to frozen in the box pizza, but not as good and twice as expensive. Toppings are miserly -- good quality, but I am not sure what 6 good quality olives are worth -- and the crust is like a cracker. I am all over a good, charred thin crust. That is not what you get here. I could understand the student crowd better if it were cheap, but it is high for what you get. If this chain lasts, it is testimony the dining public is too lazy to sit down for service in an establishment that will put a real pizza in front of you.

This Italian Restaurant received rave reviews, the friendliness and good prices no definitely contributed to that. The food is okay and big portioned. You get a choice of salad or soup with entree order. Desserts are all homemade and quite nice.

Had a take out pizza for lunch - pizza is made in front of you and you can choose to make your own or pick from the menu. The employees were great, though the restaurant seating was not as great as it looked on the website. Overall pizza was delicious even after walking it back to the hotel.

This space in an upscale plaza used to be a fancy McCormick & Schmidtâs restaurant that closed a while ago. Taking its place is an open, modern, clean Olive Garden resplendent with vibrant Italian motif and decor which added a nice vibe to this familiar chain restaurant. We decided to try it out since itâs within a short walk from our friendsâs condo. The 15 minute wait on this Thursday evening went by quickly. The $7 22 oz cold draft Blue Moon was a good start. The salad was fresh with just the right amount of dressing; we even asked for a refill. The minestrone soup was decent as well. Their famed breadsticks were delicious and aplenty. Without checking the menu I ordered chicken picata only to find out when it arrived that it didnât come with pasta; itâs actually in the under 500 calorie section! Served with crusted zucchini itâs refreshingly different from the version I was used to. Less quilt about carb. My dining companions decided to create their own pasta, coincidentally both ordered meat balls in traditional meat sauce. My sampling found the healthier whole grain linguine was surprisingly soft, and tastier than the regular spaghetti. Both loved their food selections. Service was attentive. Entree prices averaging $17 were reasonable. Overall itâs satisfying dining experience for a restaurant in this category.

Francoli was not our first choice on Sunday night. We arrived in Tustin at 5:30 PM, to our thinking to have a nice Italian meal at our go to place. Knowing the menu by heart, we already knew what the order would be. The usual parking issues of a popular spot, but when we approached the receptionist, and we saw people dining inside, we were told that due to an emergency, they were closed for the evening. Curious, asking what was the problem, we were turned away without explanation. But returning to the wet parking lot, water seemed to be coming up from the manhole cover marked sewer, but with no smell. So, racking our collective brains, almost headed back to Newport Beach, then remembered Francoli where we had not been in many years. Last time I had thought that they were a bit overpriced. Overcoming the traffic at the Circle in Orange, it was crowded with photographers and a few women looking like models, scattered here and there, we were seated on the patio. The sidewalks, crowded with onlookers of every description, the people watching was in high gear. Then came the vehicles, one out of ten seemed to have unusually loud mufflers, coupled with the sound system playing every Italian Tenor singing their hearts out. It was a bit much, not a quite evening. Onto the food. The split of sparklingly and the Chanti were good. She had lemon chicken, served with an unusual pairing of mashed potatoes, I made a mistake by asking for an extra side of sausage in my Spaghetti Bolognese. It was a large meat dish with some pasta. The salad had been terrific, tomatoes and Buffalo Mozzarella. Overall, would I go back, not sure until I finish the leftovers. Possibly if someone takes us and just has to go there.
