I had seen the mixed reviews on this place and opted to give it shot anyway...only to walk away VERY disappointed. I had a pasta dish that was probably the most over cooked dish. The pasta was crunchy hard (seriously!!) and had a hard crust over the top. It was clearly a case where the dish was under the broiler for too long. A good place would have tossed it, told me they were going to redo my main, and then served me something that wasn't so tasteless. It was supposed to have sausage, but it was the equivalent of the meat you get in canned spaghetti and meatballs.Had it not been so late and I was tired, I would have sent the dish back to have they try again.This place has nice staff, good location and interesting decor, but LACKS good food.I didn't find it in any guide books (LP or Rick Steves), which might explain it.

We ate here in the evening. We had ordered a table, but I do not think it is necssary, unless you want a table outside and the weather is good. The waiters was very friendly and he tried to say our orders on Danish. I like it when the waiters have that felling for when the customers will like to have âfunâ with them. The food was good and there was enough for a fair price. I would like to come back.- Simon

This is a little shop in the harbour selling ice cream and baked goods made by Kaffestugan in Böda, or the NE of Oland. The ice cream is so cold you can get frost bite on the top of your mouth, but it is creamy with intense flavor. Recommend cappucino for true coffee flavor and hasslenut, like Fra Angelico without the alcohol. Best flavors on our latest ice cream safari.

There are thing main things that makes a restaurant good. The atmophere, the service and the food.Been to this restaurant several times and it meets my fully expectations.The meat is perfect and served in a very good way. The owner himself is walking around at the tables and suggests a matching wine to the dish and makes sure the guests are comfortable.

The first dish, a few appetizer was really few and can just be ignored. The main course, pasta, was really tasty. That's was making the rating a bit above average.No espresso, strange for an italian restaurant.If you're looking for a good pasta in Kalmar, then I think you will enjoy this place.
