Volare on beautiful campus corner has excellent pizza and you can dine inside or ride the elevator to the 5th floor and enjoy the awesome rooftop bar. I recommend the Bee Sting paired with an ice cold beer. The prices are very reasonable and the service is amazing.

I had a restaurant .com coupon for this place so that was a plus. 4 of us went on a Friday night before they got busy and they were packed before we left. the table ordered the calamari =good the warm bread with the oil good, offerings for dipping standard=good service excellent, I ordered the eggplant very good spicy marinara almost too spicy, my mistake pizza good loaded meat option spaghetti very good as were the meatballs, I give this place a 9 as I never give a 10 as there is always room for improvement but very little improvement needs to be done here , great place! markMarymark059,Thank you for visiting our restaurant and posting a review. Lived in Norman all my life and truly don't remember a sandwich shop like this one. I could not decide which one to get because they all sounded so good. My sister had been and she recommended the K bomb. Three of the four of us had it and it was fantastic. Mom had a salad (which is unusual for this place I bet) but it looked very fresh with generous chicken. I will for sure go back and try another sandwich!

Oh my word I'm in heaven as I have struggled for years trying to find good Italian food here in Oklahoma after leaving California. Everything is fresh and homemade which you can taste the difference. I love the manicotti w/pink sauce and my husband loves the lasagna, but he always orders a couple of meatballs as well. We are fully in love with their cheese bread, yes it is thicker then normal focaccia bread, but I think it's better this way, the taste is just sooo good, but be careful as you can fill up on this before your meal. The staff is always so very nice and our waiters have always been excellent especially Justin. They have the spring menu out now so the next time we visit I'm planning to try the 4 cheese Ravioli. When it comes to cost they are so very reasonable, I was actually expecting things to cost more with how fresh everything is and the portion size that one receives. This is for sure a place to eat where you just cannot go wrong. My only negative is that they're closed on Sunday's, but everyone needs some down time, lol.

The Best of All Cuisines all in one Great Chef Driven Restaurant.. Totally Different Lunch, Dinner and Brunch Menus makes us Like 3 Different Restaurants in one Eclectic Dining Room.
Great Brunch. Also great for dinner. Fancy That never disappoints. The Ultimate Bloody Mary's are superb. All dishes are excellent. I especially like the green chili chicken, and I almost never order chicken, but this is special. Guests may be taken aback by the tables and chairs. They are a mix of styles and comfort. I would highly recommend that they install chairs that are more comfortable. Some are fine, but many are not. Some sit to low, some of cushions that are way too soft. Others have not cushions at all. But the food is worth the rolling the dice on the seating.

Went for an impromptu dinner on a Saturday night, our meals were very good. I ordered the whole wheat pasta, but didnât get to eat it. Our kiddo ordered simple spaghetti with just pesto, but the server neglected to mention their version of âpestoâ was basically sun-dried tomatoes and oil. She didnât want it so I switched meals with her. It was good, not actual pesto though (made with basil) My husband also enjoyed his meal, and service was great. Will return!

With 26 Specialty Pies, an extensive Build-Your-Own-Pizza menu PLUS great Pasta, Craft Beer, and Desserts it is no surprise that Hideaway Pizza has been a family tradition since 1957!
We dined here last Saturday as a group of 8. The pizzas, cheesy bread, pasta, and fried mushrooms were all delicious. The large tables were the perfect size for our group. We had the sweetest waitress and she was very accommodating in finding the channel for the baseball game we wanted to watch. Look forward to returning if in Norman again.Thank you very much for letting us know about your visit! We sincerely hope you and your family will be back again soon!

We got there late in the evening and it was still packed. Seated within fifteen minutes, our waiter was attentive and affable. Their wine selection is ok. We got a moderately priced Chianti that went nicely with the food. The calamari were very large, not chewy and the sriracha aioli sauce to dip it in is much better than their marinara. We also got the bruschetta, and that was refreshing! It was more like what we had eaten in Italy than what you generally get in the US. It is a room temperature dish for those of you who expect your bruschetta to be warm. The nutella salad is divine. Arugula, roasted beets, toasted hazelnuts, chevre and purple onions with a light balsamic vinaigrette - the flavors complemented each other wonderfully. It was a salad with depth. The Caesar salad was dry and a little odd with pancetta. The best pasta dish was "The Pasta from Hell". It had a good mix of flavors and textures with little "meatballs" of Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms and onions with a Serrano-based cream sauce. It is not spicy in case you don't like hot/spicy foods. The chicken Marsala served with mashed potatoes and blanched asparagus was very good. The chicken was tender and the flavor was rich - almost like a German schnitzel. Alas, the one dish that was not good was the mushroom rigatoni. The sauce was just earthy. Supposedly it has four different mushrooms and the cream sauce also apparently had Serrano peppers but there was no "pop" to the flavors. It was bland at best. Our desserts were delectable. The carrot cake is moist, chunky and rich with a thick slathering of icing. It was the best carrot cake I had eaten in more than twenty years! We also tried the triple chocolate mouse cake. It was too rich to finish, even with several of us trying it. Silky smooth with dark, milk and white chocolate mousse layered on a foundation of a dark chocolate cake, it needs to be shared. Although we didn't try any piatti secondi, the steaks looked fantastic as did the grilled rack of lamb. A couple of tables also got pizza - and they ate every morsel. We will definitely go back for another meal.
