Real Italian food, great find after 3 years living in Nagoya finally we found a genuine Italian made by Italians, great atmosphere and very friendly service. Many vegetarian options and flexible to make changes in their menu which is rare in Japan. Authentic pizza thin crust ... so yummmy

They have 3 cheap pizzas, that also taste cheap (sauce has a metallic flavor) everything else on the menu is overpriced. I marked the service as terrible, but that's by Japanese standards, which isn't too bad compared to other countries. One major complaint was we had a tired little boy from waiting in line for 20 minutes (they also aren't that efficient at getting food out); after we paid for our pizzas and drinks my wife asked the cashier if her and my son could sit-down while I waited for our food at the counter. They profusely refused my wife's request and made her stand with our exhausted son while they made the pizzas in front of us. On a positive note, the atmosphere is pleasant.

After search on Google I found this micro brewery on walking distance from Nagoya Station. I went there just to have a quick beer, and it worked out well. Would definitely come back another time.

We found macaroni after we flew over. It is situated right in the entry of the train station right after we reached Nogayancity centre from the airport. We sat here to through our itinerary and got our train tickets for the following days. The restaurant is big and offers afternoon tea and also dinner set at fair price. A nice stop before we headed to our next destination.

Ryoutei Kawabun is a traditional high-class Japanese-style restaurant.Allegedly, the offspring of a cook who served Tokugawa, tycoon, runs the restaurant. The Kawabun Nagoya is its branch that is western-style and more affordable. We sometimes have dinner there on the special days. This time, they held a beer garden, which was an unprecedented event for themselves. It was a dim restaurant, which created a good atmosphere. It was all-you-can-eat-and-drink.We put a wide variety of food on our plates, got some bottles of beer and poured out juice.Every dish was delicious.I hope they hold a beer garden every summer!

As claimed, the pizza is very good. The crust really reminds of the original pizza napoletana. The cheese and tomatoes though, are a little under par. Grilled calamari was well prepared. Service is very welcoming and the place inside looks nice and warm. Worth a try if you are in the area.

Città d'Italia Ltd. direct import from Italy wines, spirits and food. in March of 2000 opened "ANTICA ROMA" one of the largest Italian restaurants in the city center of Nagoya, Japan - (restaurant, pizzeria, wine bar and the wine shop) - located in a baro
Having spent 8 days in Japan, we missed Europe and its food. So we chose this lovely restaurant. The food was super Italian, with fresh (imported ingredients). We had the margarita pizza which was superb, as well as the arbiatta pasta that was just perfect. Large choice of Italian wines completed an amazing experience. Don’t miss a tour to the unbelievable wine room downstairs- we would have bought some bottles if we didn’t need to ship them.Go there for a great Italian experience that is also reasonably priced (we paid ~$70 for appetizer, pizza, pasta and 3 glasses of Italian red wine;limonchelo was on the house).
