Das Restaurant hat einen gemütlichen Innenraum und einen idyllischen AuÃenbereich. Das Essen (wir hatten Tapas und Pizza) ist gut, der Service freundlich. Irritierend ist lediglich die Parkplatzbeschilderung. Der Restaurant-Parkplatz scheint gar nicht existent. Dort ist lediglich ein kleiner Personal-Parkplatz. Um Drehmanöver zu vermeiden am Besten gleich auf den Hotelparkplatz fahren.

We made the mistake to arrive at La Gondola with no reservation on Valentines day. The place was "packed" but the staff was very, very friendly and was able to get us a table after all by putting other guests together at one table and allowing us to stay. The salads and entrees where big in portion and were outstanding. The handmade gnocchi filled with spinach are a MUST HAVE !!! The big dessert sampler was also fantastic. We had a great time and we will be back next year when attending another Ambiente show in Frankfurt. The only advise I have for other guests that want to experience great Italian food at this fine eatery: You need to bring CASH !!!! They do NOT accept any plastic.

There are a couple of Italian places in Niedernhausen. This one is near the train station, on Bahnhofstrasse. Parking? Non-existent. Park going up the hill on the right side, or at the train station itself (after 6PM). Friday and Saturday are heavy usage nights so you might want to call and make a reservation. They do an outstanding job on food, and carry a fairly decent menu selection, with ample wine choices. The staff is very friendly and the decor is absolutely fantastic.....you feel like you are in Italy. Prices will run moderate. And allow yourself some treats at the end with desert.

It's on the way out of town, and you might accidentally miss it. It's on the second floor, and you should expect every dish to be outstanding. Pleasant atmosphere. Pricing is reasonable. Customer service is great. A fine place to bring friends or family.

This boisterous place is full of locals eating very good Italian food. The pizza was thin crust and they are extremely accommodating about dietary issues. Totally paid with a credit card, no problem, don't know what the other reviewer was talking about. Great choice if you are staying at the nearby Ramada Micador Wiesbaden-Niedernhausen Hotel.
