We stopped at Ai Torcoli for lunch while touring Valpolicella and its wineries. The restaurant has a wonderful view of the countryside. Our server was friendly and spoke some English. The food and wine were very enjoyable. It was a great place to stop and take a break from the winding roads.

We were recommended to go for lunch by a local winery owner...we were not disappointed! The speciality homemade pasts dishes were outstanding as was the Gelato made by the chef from Hazel and Pistachio nuts....the glass of Ripasso recommended to go with the pasta with Mushrooms for my wife of with Rabbit for me just rounded off the dishes perfectly...a great lunch and I would have every confidence of an outstanding dinner too.

Really good locally-sourced Veronese food and plenty of it, so come hungry, with great service. Had my in-laws anniversary lunch there and we were really looked after by Valia Gabriele and the staff. It really pays to listen to the off-menu fresh specials.

We were a large group that stopped here for dinner. The service was impeccable, the wine list (900 labels!!) impressive!! The food was simply amazing- we loved everything, especially the tomato soup and homemade ravioli! We canât figure out how the Italians stay so slim, there was so many dishes that we couldnât eat everything! But rest assured dear cook, your food was just wonderful, we loved every bite!!We hope to come back again next time we are in Valpolicella!

We wouldn't have known of this lovely restaurant if our local friends did not bring us here. Chef-owner, Stefano, was an incredible host and it would be remiss, not to also praise his culinary skills. Everything from the recommended wine to dessert made us a perfect dinner. Stefano even obliged our request for black truffle pasta that was not on his menu. If your Italian friend offers to drive you to this fine restaurant, do not turn it down!

How very pleasing to find such a quality restaurant close by to your holiday villa!! We went here to eat two nights in a row!!! Staff are highly professional, friendly and helpful in relation to regional wine. The restaurant is part of the Vigna 800 wine making enterprise and offer a lovely range of their own and other wines. Dishes are very fresh, cleverly crafted based in tradition, generous and very tasty. We thought it all very good value and were pleased with all aspects of food, wine and service. Thank you Diego and team.

This is a favourite of the locals where one can find good local dishes, such as tagliatelle with truffle, at very affordable prices. Pizzas seem to be one of the house favourite here when we looked around, and we found out why when our truffle pizza with the name of "UFO" arrived. The crust was thin yet crisp throughout, and with the right amount of thinly sliced beef and truffle. Tagliatelle with truffle was even more fragrant although the two together were quite filling. We also had the entrecôte that is worth a try just for the ingenious way it is presented, and it was delicious too. With wine and water it was unbelievably inexpensive and we were told it was always full, so reserve ahead or be very flexible with waiting.
