Had an excellent dinner at La Lola (perth)ãBig group (12 of us) tried various items on the menu, all happy with their food. My husband had duck ragu pappardelle and I had burnt-butter ravioli, both dishes tasted really good. The duck was amazing. Service was attentive and food portion was just nice, left us room for dessert! Will return and recommend.

What a nice location! It was matched only by the food which was really good. I could have done without the waiter constantly reminding me that Iâm a âbig guyâ it was pretty obnoxious, especially as Iâve lost 45kgs and was with an important client who felt really awkward. This would have been a 5 star review if he had been vaguely appropriate

Tried the mill point branch which had a 40 minute queue so we drove over to the Broadway branch which fortunately had a vacancy. Cosy atmosphere and service was fast. Excellent menu with formidable portions. We had spaghetti vongole, ciao italia fettucine, veronese pizza and calamari. Prices are reasonable and the food is good.

We have eaten at this restaurant a number of times and each time the meal and service have been exceptional. Lunch on Sunday is lovely as the view is great on the river but the evening meals showcase the lights of the city.Hi Therese T, Thank you so much for your rating and review. Enjoyed chilli mussels,Gnocchi,garlic bread and garden salad on a quiet sunday nightFirst thing you notice when you enter are the daggy clapped out chairs. They are comfy enough, just need a recover.We sat near the long outdated water feature and noticed a mouldy smell. The base was mouldy. Only minor things that are easily fixed.Service was very good. Going back?...Yes, for the food!

Lambretta is a small easy to find restaurant on the Hampden Road strip. Very welcoming staff provide friendly, efficient service throughout the dining experience. We shared lunch on a cold autumn day and enjoyed tasty, warming pasta dishes and good coffee; it was just what we needed. The menu has plenty of choice and the prices are reasonable. We had visited before and were delighted to see the high standard of hospitality had been maintained.

Will never go back Arrogant waitresses not friendly at all !! Had prawns which I donât think were Australian prawns and had my first ever food reaction in my life ,, the cocktails are Not cocktails they are just spirits with a mixer ,, what a long journey for a waste of time !!Hi jayr658,Thank you for taking your time to write us a review. We are sorry that you did not enjoy your experience here at Woodpeckers.We are disappointed that you have decided to leave us your complaints here, despite our efforts to accommodate your requests - basically customising a pasta of your own with cream, chilli and seafood, the waitress was also going back from the table to kitchen multiple times to make sure that the chef would be okay to make an exception and cook a dish that was not on the menu, checking with your table a few times throughout the evening and asked if things were enjoyable; yet we did not manage to get any feedback that could help us get things fixed on the spot for you.Cocktails that you've ordered, Tennessee Mule and Sex on the beach, were both made by the bar manager with over 10 years experience with our popular recipe using juices, liquors, vodka, ginger beer. We enjoyed delicious food and great service at JoJo s cafe in May. It's right on the Waterfront.I had a pasta dish, unfortunately I didn't write the name down, but it was wide pasta strips with a strong flavour cheese which the owner kindly told me I had to mix with the pasta and it was the best pasta I have ever tasted! Another mouth watering sweet was their tiramisu. Being from Adelaide,and not knowing the locality, we were lucky to have good friends from Perth drive us there.Certainly hope to revisit next time,Hello Sally113, Thank you for your lovely review all the way from Adelaide! Dinner with friends, we chose the degustation menu. We have been to Prego before and have never been disappointed, and again we loved it. There was nothing in the dishes we sampled that we did not enjoy. My favourite was the mushroom and prawns, followed by the main of lamb. Then again, the tortellini was great, and so was the bruschetta, and the dessert... The service from Anna is excellent, and Joe, owner and chef, pops into the restaurant to say hello. Highly recommended, we will be back.Thank You Sandra for your time to write lovely review. The best part about going back to this restaurant is that you know the standards are still at a very high level.Once again service was great from a variety of staff, the meals were superb - lamb outstanding and pork very good. Starters were good and dessert divine. A great experience, a great restaurant and all the food plus a great bottle of Italian vino for a tick under $160. So they still, after many years - have the balance so right in regards to service, food quality and pricing - which doesn't always happen in Perth.Long may they continue.
